Most of the food on the store shelves is GMO ( genetically Modify ) so, How to know it is Gmo read the lebel what if it doesn't say, well, go NONE GMO. Monsanto all he is looking for is the MONEY, to be the # 1 by destroying our health.

I do have major concerns about GMO products. My concerns have a lot to do with the manner in which it has been all tested. Clear concerns that have been voiced have not been adequately addressed. Scientists who have done testing who have expressed concerns have simply lost their jobs. What are they covering up? I'm also concerned with how farmers who have their seed accidentally crossed with GMO seed or who inadvertently have some of that seed mixed in with theirs are getting sued for using the "technology" without permission. Something is definitely wrong here. I find it hard to trust a company like Monsantos on this. Would you trust a company whose accomplishments include agent orange and PCP's? We're talking about our food now.

What are you afraid of? I bet you have no idea! Man has been modifying the genes of plants and animals ever since he learned to select the best seeds from a crop so that it would be bigger and better next year. If it weren't for 'genetic modification', there would be no such thing as wheat, cows would produce only enough milk for their calves with no surplus for humans, chickens would be skinny and not worth eating and would not produce enough eggs to be worth the while keeping them.

There is a huge difference between the genetic modifications Monsantos does and selective breeding of animals and cross breeding of plants. Just a cursory look at the objections online should give any thinking person pause for thought. Beenice2's English is far from perfect but she has spent a great deal of time reading up on the subject. Incidentally your statements on cows and chickens is false. Virtually all mammals including humans are capable of producing milk after their young are weened without having to have that trait bred into them. Chickens were worth eating before they were ever domesticated by man or we would have never bothered.

Here's the real shame. Do you know how long I have been hearing people yelling and screaming about Monsanto? So long I can remember how long! And that company is still in business!! Either what people say about them is not true OR it is true and the complaints are falling on deaf ears. So is it: Shame on Monsanto? OR Shame on the authorities who have the power to stop them and DON'T??!!
