Who Is better C++ or Java!

i m a c++ programmer. i believe C++ is much faster then java.(i've many reasons)
what u think...plz give reason?

thanx all c++ luvers for ur reply. please Java programmers it's a humble request....please share ur ideas. may be we r unaware of some of the real facts.

Java is best...coz its platform independent and so can be used in web based applicaitons easily...easy to use built in packages and classes and availability of lots of default functions in which u can change the value of an object and make it work easily...its simple to find the functions when u use tools like eclipse!!

yeah...but all the function r virtual here in java...so java currently never used in real time applications n always c++ is prefered. also packages n wraaper classes can also be built from c++...it's a lengthy process but 1 time activity.
it's preferable only when faster UI develpment is needed.

yes c++ is faster than java... one reason is that java is verbose that make it slower and it consumed a lot of resources...
