I joined as a new vetter, but I work very slowly... so I don't get paid much. I was wondering, though, at only 1c per question is it worth it? Should I lose accuracy for speed? And does anyone have experience with the red alerts and such? Or other positions? I'd love to hear any experience or thoughts~

When I was an Expeditor and before pay was lowered I was making around $600/month, with my earnings and contest earnings. Now as a Vetter I make $300/month, about half of that is from contest earnings. To make that I put in 3 to 4 hours a day and that's with breaks cause I have kids and they get bored when I'm on my computer for hours straight. So it is possible to make money with ChaCha it just takes actual time and work. For someone who thinks it will be 'fast' money then I wouldn't recommend it. Just try to work the most on weekends and while red alerts are running, otherwise you will just be earning around a dollar per hour. It adds up with contest earnings.

Thank you for your insight! This is the kind of insight I was hoping for. I think that I'll try to limit my Vetting to red alert times, then, and continue to work on it.

I'm a Generalist/Specialist, but I haven't been very active this year. Based on my experiences as a Guide, I'd say that you're the only one who can decide whether or not the compensation is worth the time you're putting into it. I work pretty slowly, too. I always put accuracy before speed. It really frustrates me when I text ChaCha a question and have the Guide who responds give me a wrong answer, so I try to give the correct answer 100% of the time. I don't make more than a few dollars a day when I work on ChaCha, but it's enough for me.

rekeson, your profile here says that you are from Kuwait. If that is true, you may not be able to work for ChaCha. They only hire people who are authorized to work in the United States and have a U.S. mailing address. However, to answer your question, ChaCha is a question and answer service. Customers can call and ask a question or text a question to ChaCha, and Guides like me find the answer and send it back to them.

I just started as a vetter almost 2 weeks ago. It is very slow. I have 4 kids so I can only be on for little spirts at a time before I have to tend to them. They currently arent hiring any other roles besides vetter so it looks like I will be stuck at 1 cent questions for awhile. I hope something changes soon. At least a monthly goal contest or something of the sort.
