There can be many reasons. Are you eating sugar in any form, sweets, sodas etc? Sugar rises the sugar level in the blood and as this is very dangerous, our body produces insuline and recuces the sugar to 5 grams, to save us. Sometimes the insuline producing cells overreact for white sugar or maybe white flour, and produce too much insuline and lowers the sugar levels too much. Then we feel tired and hungry and want to eat. So to avoid this, we need slow carbs, vegetables and fruit etc. But if we eat wrong fats, they may block our cells - cell membranes consist of fats - and the nutrition cannot get in and the waist cannot get out. So we need cold pressed oils and natural fats, like cold pressed coconut oil. Also nuts that are not heated give us some good oils. If we feed the cell membranes with right fats, the nutrition can come into the cells and we don´t feel hungry. There might also be other reasons for feeling hungry, but these are a couple that many don´t think of, maybe.. The more healthy we eat, the more right nutrition we get and that helps us to feel full not get hungry so easily.

It takes all you have to avoid certain foods, and to give up meat is one of the hardest. I tried during my teens years, but got too thin and I don't think I was getting adequate protein. I started eating meat again after I graduated. I think if you fill up on protein veggies and some fruit you would be hungrier lesser.

I think its just about what you are going through right now, maybe your inconsistencies in wanting or not wanting to eat is due to stress, or your work or school related projects that is causing you to not really have a constant time to eat.

But what are you eating? Are you preparing hearty meals or eating light salads? You don't need meat to feel full. Eat hearty vegetarian dishes--oatmeal, tempeh stew (like beef stew, but substituting tempeh for the meat), lentil dishes. If you are using a lot of tempeh, lentils, brown rice and oats, you will feel fuller longer. It is also cheaper than following a meat-based diet--and healthier.

Do you drink a lot of water? If you don't, you should. It fills you up. Drink 1 big glass with each meal and you will probably find yourself getting fuller and fuller. That's what I do and it works well. Plus, water is of course good for you... Otherwise, do you make sure to eat a lot of fiber & protein? If you don't, you should try to make sure you do - those types of foods make you feel full as well. Best of luck to you..

Changing weather greatly affects our appetite. When the days are long we often feel more hungry and in spite of having our regular meals we feel like eating more. I am going through the same situation these days. I feel like eating more and more, but instead of going for junk food I prefer eating fruits and sometimes even bread-butter.

I feel hungry all the times when I am usually bored or just thinking about food to much. I was on a diet before and even-though I just ate, I was so focused on monitoring my food so much that it was all that I was thinking about. It can also be a force of habit. I sometimes find myself eating even when I am not really hungry because I always eat at 3 pm. Make sure that you are really hungry and not just thirsty. Drink plenty of water or if you don't like the bland taste of water then choose a low calorie beverage. Keep some nuts on hand for you to snack on when you feel hungry.

Whenever you fill hungry you can just fill your stomach with bread. If you're too concern of gaining weight then don't eat heavy meals but eat something lightly as much as you can. So even if you eat a lot just make sure you're taking the food lightly. The changes in your appetite could be brought about by stress or anxiety.

I get that sometimes, sometimes even while I'm eating and know I'm full I still feel very hungry. It's weird. Even when I eat meat. I also have days I don't feel like eating at all. Glad to know I'm not the only one. lol
