is almond oil effective in removing scars?

my son suffered from second degree burn due to hot water. fortunately, it was not that deep so it dried up fast. a friend told us that almond oil is very effective in removing scars. did you ever try it yourself? i have researched about it and it says it can remove the redness of the scar. i can't find almond oil here but one of my friend will send me one. for now i am using coconut oil and vitamin e to lessen the scars.

yes i have read it also. it is lighter also than any other vegetable oil. you will apply it after a warm compress or bath so the oil will enter the pores. my son is doing good with the virgin coconut oil while we are waiting for the almond oil to arrive. thanks for the response.

hi,i tink i should to say that, i like organic products to treat anything and everything but not all of it works also, you do need sometimes aritfical medicine and drinks. but almond is good to make your skin soft as i heared but not scars i don not have any idea its effect on the scars but i think it has no effect as its this is oil, and oil work to moist and make your skin soft not dray and hydrates it. but scars are not responding skins, so how come it will affect it, i suggest you ask your docotor
