New Details Emerge in Trayvon Martin Shooting

The police have revealed a few more details about the Trayvon Martin shooting and the events that took place that fateful evening.
According to police, Zimmerman was walking back to his SUV when Martin confronted him and punched him, knocking Zimmerman to the ground. Martin then bashed Zimmerman's head on the pavement several times while Zimmerman called out for help. Martin's father even told police that the voice crying for help was not that of his son.

Is the media still right to sensationalize the Trayvon Martin killing? Will they give equal attention to the real story as they did to the one they made up, the story of the unarmed helpless teen who was relentlessly pursued and shot simply because he was black? Will they ever stop showing the picture of Trayvon when he was just 11 years old and admit he was actually 6'3" and 220 pounds? And if they do, will it change anyone's mind? Will the New Black Panthers repeal the bounty they put on Zimmerman's head? Will Al Sharpton shut up? Will the president admit he shouldn't comment on situations he knows nothing about?
And what if they do tell the truth now? What if there are no charges filed? Will George Zimmerman get his life back? I doubt it. He is a marked man now, regardless. He will have to change his name, his job, move away - he is not safe anymore.
Are we sick of the media yet? Are we sick of the people who make a living from being outraged and inciting others to hate and to commit violence? If we are, can we stop them?

This is what happens when the media tries the case before all the facts are known. Remember the Duke Lacrosse case and the damage done to those students.
By the way why isn't Al Sharpton in Chicago protesting where There was a shooting spree when 13 people were killed and over 40 injured. Or the baby that was killed in Detroit? The reason is because Al Sharpton is one of the biggest racists around. The reason is it is Black on Black violence and to him that must be OK because he does nothing to stop it.
He and Jess Jackson were both very upset for a school that expelled some students who were fighting at a basketball game. That is until they found out that the students were all black and the principal and school board was mostly black. Where was their outrage a few years ago when a white father and his son were gunned down in Chicago because two black gangs were shooting it out driving around town trying to kill each other. Because to those racists black on white crime and killing is OK.

Right now on Twitter, USA Today is trending a hashtag "#tellusatoday" on what should happen to Zimmerman in this case. This is what happens in a country where we get hours and hours of reality TV, where stories and reputations are created or destroyed willfully by the media and we think that guilt or innocence is subject to a popular vote by the viewing public. The person yelling the loudest is assumed to be right. Why wait for facts when hype and lies are better for getting people riled up? For a major news organization to poll readers and Twitter followers on how to decide the case is a complete abrogation of the duty of the press which, although they've forgotten it, is to seek the truth and the facts without bias - because an informed public is essential to our liberty and future.

Yes I am sick of the media being very silent on Issues of Obama's background and all the subversive acts he has made to bring our country to it's knees. However they sensationalize every story they can to further divide this country by inciting racism and Obama also adds fuel to that fire.
Trayvons mother very clearly state on a TV interview that is WAS her son crying for help as she recognized his voice. The new story of Trayvon attacking that large Zimmerman person armed with skittles and iced tea is IMO absolutely ludicrous and unbelievable.
BTW I do not think Al Sharpton will ever shut up...yapping and inciting racism is his profession and I think he earns a pretty penny for his efforts.
