Scrapbook Convention

Has anyone gone to a scrapbook convention? I have gone to about 5 of them now and you get to see every kind of scrapbboking supplies you ever need or want. Plus you get a chance to win stuff as every 1/2 or so they call off numbers that are pasted on the floor and if you are standing on that number you get a prize, plus door prizes etc. And if you like to volunteer you can sign up for volunteer spots and get paid $30.00 per shift every time we go we work at least 2 shifts to get spending money, also you will get your registration fee back so if you sign for 2 shifts registration is $20.00 get paid $30.00 per shift altogether you get $90.00 spending money cash too

I have always wanted to go to one. They have one in a bigger city not so far from here....I probably would't get the opportunity to work it but I would love to go see all the new products.....I scrap and also stamp...so punches paper etc....love seeing the new products!

I've never been to a scrapbook convention but hopefully I'd get to go this October..My mother in law has been to at least a couple of them..You get a lot of things done..
I'd love to go a card making convention too if there is one..

It is good that you might go to a show soon, you can get anything that you need to finish your projects I do picture frames too I take a 5 X 7 photo then put it in a 8 X 10 frame an then put things around the photo looks very nice when done

I've never been to a scrapbook convention.
I have gone to a couple of bead things, they were awesome, but in the end I only got a few things. One I got more than the other, but they were fun.
I've been lot lots of science fiction conventions, now those are FUN!

Well never been to a science fiction fair I bet they are fun I am just into scrapbooking but if you ever go to one you will find all the supplies you need for any type of book you want to make

I have been to the Great American scrapbook convention in Chantilly several times. I love going and seeing the new products, and of course all the great buys you can get there. I'm hoping to make the other one, which is in Arlington in May. But I am also planning a weekend retreat for May too. Gonna be a busy month! but lots of scrapbooking involved. I just got back from a 3 week trip out East and have a lot to scrapbook.

I always try to go to at least one convention per year whether it be the one in West Palm Beach, Fl or the one in Orlando , Fl I am going to Orlando for 5days making it a Disney trip too
