News today are quite alarming. Almost everyday crimes are getting bolder and bolder.These criminals do their acts with out hesitation even in public and crowded places. Some are even caught on CCTV but others have a way by covering their faces or pulling the plug of the camera.
Do you think the law enforcers can deal with it or we need public awareness.

i think we people also need to be very vigilant and observe our surroundings all the time because crazy people who are up to no good are also everywhere. yeah even if there are CCTV's, it's like they are not even scared being caught and they don't even care if there are innocent people around that might get hit or killed

I think so many of the T.V. shows and movies put a adventurous light on crime that entices some people. That and the crime shows give criminals the idea that they have figured out how to get away with more crimes becasue they think they can get around how the police get information by watching T.V. shows about crime. Video games do the same. Kids think I got away with it in the game I could do it in real life. I know we moved out of the urban area we grew up in to get away from so much of the crime but now years later it is trickling in here to the middle of no where and we just want to leave like we did before.

I think so too that these mediums (tellies, movies and the technology) had a hand in putting in the minds of adventure and thrill seeking people to try if they can get away with it.Many people move to urban areas thinking that they could have a better life. Others get lucky but to some who had failed in their dreams was enticed to do the easiest way they can think off and that is by committing crime. Over population can be a factor too in increasing the crime rate in certain areas.

Yes, that's true stanley. Criminals are already getting bolder. And it's all for the sake of money. 
Take for instance those riding in tandems , gunning people, they are paid for that.
It should be that the law enforcers be increased and the public should be warned and cautioned too, of what to do, so as to avoid this notorious people.
Also, the government should impose stricter and harsher punishments for criminals.

Last week a day won't pass without 1 or 2 killings, and they are mostly perpetuated by people riding in tandems. They do their acts even in the presence of many people. Reports says that most of these killings are done by hired killers. Does it mean, all things have a price or is this a result of unemployment.I think imposing stricter punishment for criminal offenders would help but first we should start with government officials who have committed crimes or have used their position in the government to do their ill motives.
