evolving humanity

A great and interesting question. I guess to evolve means different things to different people. In my mind if humanity were to reach an evolutionary peak there would be no criminals. If you think of evolution just in terms of becoming intellectualy smarter and physically stronger than I suppose you could end up with super criminals. But I believe to truly evolve in the best way possible it must be threefold, intellectual, physical and spiritual. And when I say spiritual I don't mean formal religion. I mean our hearts, our humanity must stay in step with other types of evolvement or we are in trouble. We may always have wayward souls among us but if humanity does evolve in all three ways I believe this will be a far lesser problem. For one thing we will be better parents and communities, children would be raised more consciously and responsibly. That alone would create far less criminality. Also if we were to evolve in this threefold way we would have a more equitable and prosperous world where people would'nt feel a need to steal from others in various ways. We are living in a time where humanity is heavily distracted by technology and media, much of it shallow and trivial. We are also heavily influenced by corporations that have an interest in us all being consumed by consumerism. Right now at the surface of things it doesn't look like there is much evolvement happening in the world we are living in. But never the less I believe that we are.
