Recently i found out that someone form my family is lying to rest of us and do it constantly. is it some sort of illness when person cannot stop to do it and continue to lie to us in every single moment. When asked if person is saying truth answer allways will be negative, but then at the next day we found out that it was a lie.

People tend to lie because they can and because they just believe the delusion in many ways. There are people who have lied so much, that they have even deluded themselves. If you think about it, there are some people who really do lie so much that telling the truth to them, in their own reality, would in fact be the most dirty, nasty lie ever. But in the end, it is just something that they feel like they need to do, because they fear the truth. They do it because they can. Lying is just like any other vice, any other addiction people are going to have. One time, they like the fact that they can manipulate reality into a more favorable outcome, so they keep doing it, becoming more and more reckless every time.

Lying is easier. It's a defence mechanism. I'm don't actually mind being lied to for some reason. I mean I don't like it but it doesn't bug me too much. Sometimes it seems the only way out of one lie is through another. Sometimes lies are good though. It depends on the situations.
