David blaine : entertainer of the decade

I agree with you... there many thing that he did without any trick

I agree, David Blaine is excellent. I would even credit him for selling the netowrks on the idea that "Street Magic" would attract an audience. This, I believe, is his greatest contribution. As far as his magic goes, he is a solid performer with a simple yet effective style. I am a professional magician in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Although I have not enjoyed success anywhere near the level of David Blaine, I am quite certain that his magic skills are on par with other magicians I know. Still, his shows are well planned, wildly entertaining and always fun. I would like to say that I dislike the introduction of stunts and "physical endurance" tests into the magic show. This adds a sidshow or circus feel that I believe is not the direction magic show head.

Amazing or stupid? Fine line. ;) Although, I agree, he is the master of illusion.
