Hi there fellas and gals, Well i think i did something awful today and it has something to do with my old habits, before My-lot i was very fond of watching a lot of TV everyday i would watch TV and really waste my time, I would come home from work and besides doing other important stuff I would just burn the day with watching a lot of TV and ended the day with remorse and guilt that I wasted my day just watching tube. How bout you guys did you ever had that kinda guilty feeling that you could have done something better than just watch TV all day?

Its actually the other way around for me. lol. I don't get to do that anymore! I don't get to waste my time in front of the TV. When I go home from work, I take care of my kid, try to finish my craft and do updates on my online shop. So I would only get to watch tv for like an hour or so. So yeah, you know...be thankful that you still get to lounge around with the tube.

Hi there donsky14, Maybe yeah i better be thankful a little bit but i am still remorseful since i could have done a more productive thing compared to just watching TV, like you you take care of you're kid, you create and finish on your craft and make changes and updates on your online shop so i think that I'll make sure just to watch what i need to and really focus more on important stuff than just burying my face on the TV. Thanks for the comment.

Hi deo, yes I have had that guilty feeling when i could have done something better than just watch the television all day. i used to be a couch-potato before (lying in bed and watch my favorite foreign television series) all day. i have gained so much weight doing the same routine everyday. imagine, i have got no exercise and i was inactive. however, things changed when i have acquired diabetes. i have realized that i should get back to my old active lifestyle and do productive things that will help me support my needs. now, i am back to exercising, i am also back to writing articles online, etc.. i don't spend too much time on tv. if i do, i just spend an hour or two..

Hi deodavid don't beat yourself up for having a break once in awhile. Sometimes I will have a movie day and I think its our bodys way of telling us to just chill and relax. Usually when I am doing this though my hands are seldom idle. I am either knitting or cross stitching if i am sitting down Now I am missing a show here and there because our weather is so pretty right now I would rather set out in a park and knit or stitch. I am glad my crafting is portable so I can enjoy the outdoors. If you feel guilty then I am really in trouble cause I have a movie day once a week. Its usually Lifetime movie channel or I have Netflix. Never a shortage of movies LOL Enjoy resting and taking a break!

Sometimes I feel guilty for watching too much TV, too.:D This happens a lot during holidays or Sunday's when I get too lazy to do anything else. I try to remedy this by choosing the shows that I'm going to watch. When I watch dramas, I watch those that are dubbed in Chinese so that I would at least improve my Chinese (I'm not 100% fluent in it). Also, I would always walk on the treadmill in front of TV to make walking less boring and more bearable. When I watch educational shows, I won't feel guilty even if I've watched for hours.:)
