Hello fellow lotters,
Well I hope that everybody is doing well this fine evening (on my time zone) or day.
Well i think i should have put this on a ranting about topic but since it started with food I guess I'll just put it on the category of eating.
Yesterday as I have mentioned on some of my earlier discussions, we ate at this great restaurant that had a mixture of Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine, and I really did ate a lot and tried everything as much as I can to my failure but i think i tried 80% but while this was going on we had a waitress that would always watch over us and pick up plates that we don't need anymore and get our glasses of refills for unlimited juice.
But during this whole course of our fine dining we just seem to notice her body language, I'm no expert but i do realize if a person is annoyed or tired. I know that she serves lots of tables but i think maybe you can at least act to still like your job so that you don't pass on the bad vibes to customers. Well i guess i will never know but i don't hold a grudge with the waitress.
I understand the stress of serving more than 9 masters at a time.
Take care now lotters.

You're right. I also notice that in some restaurants especially if it's during peak hours, waiters pretend not to hear you when you call them. I guess they are just avoiding to commit then they will not able to deliver or serve you because they are busy with other customers. But then again, it is their job. Her attitude will affect the restaurant's image. So if I own this restaurant that you're referring and this incident came to my knowledge then I will surely talk to this lady. I do not want my employees to disappoint even a single customer. Business is business.

It sounds like she was very efficient, which is good. Attitude-wise, it sounds like she could use some work. I can't even imagine being a waitress though! It seems so annoying to have to deal with customers all the time. But I know what you mean. Not that we expect them to be HAPPY, because that would just be pure faking it (which is even worse), but friendliness is always a plus when you work in customer service.

Hi there maezee,
Well i have worked in a customer service oriented job in an office before and still am now as a nurse and it is really kinda hard dealing with people especially when they are impatient and you've got other people to serve to, but i guess being in this kind of work to be successful and not get a bad rep or fired just try to relax and just do the job without any negative baggage's, that way i think you'll make sure to make the job easier for you and no hassle with your clients or customers.
Thanks maezee.
