I wonder what mylotters here would prefer to do. Do you choose to shop online, like: e-bay, amazon, etc or would you rather go out and spend hours to shop at the store, shop or mall and spend a day or two until you are really decided on what you would buy? For me, I do both. I sometimes shop online, especially for my daughter's needs and clothes while for my needs and my hubby's, I'd prefer to shop on stores or shops and would really take time to shop and end up buying after 2-3 days the most. What about you? Do you prefer to shop online or shop on stores? Share your thoughts! Happy mylotting!

I do both but definitely prefer shopping online. Unlike most people who have responded so far, I find it much cheaper to shop online. In fact, I will often see something that I like in the shops and then wait until I get home before buying more cheaply online. If you know what you want and use price comparison sites, you can often get a really good deal. You can also search for offer codes and use these to get money off and/or free delivery. Even with the delivery costs it often still works out cheaper when buying online. For certain clothes stores, where I know that I can get good discounts online, I will actually go into the shop, try on the clothes or shoes that I like and then buy them online if they fit ok. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, when people are worrying that shops are closing down but at least I am still buying from them. If I paid full price for everything I wouldn't be able to buy half the stuff that I do.

I prefer shop on stores. It gives you much benefits and know the real product. :)

I don't like shopping at all. So I only go if I need something and know what I want. I hate to visit shop after shop. Buying "online" was always expensive here, in some cases I do but it's mostly not the smartest thing to do if it comes to clothes. I have to fit them first to know if they fit me, mostly they don't. Can look great on the pic but not on me and that means it's very annoying if I have to send it back (cost extra money also). It's the same with shoes. If it comes to other products I care less although it's seldom cheaper if you buy online. So it's better to go to shop and buy it there. I know what I want so I run inside and out as fast as possible.

I do both also. If I have enough time to shop at the mall (which I take hours to shop) I prefer going to the mall. But, if I don't have enough time, I shop online.

I would definitely do both. I am a bargain shopper, and online there tends to be bargain sales, and the entire store selection is online. While that is a plus, the store may hold some items I like that are not displayed online. I went to rue21 last year and bought a few things, I looked online and the items were not even in the catalog. Plus a sweater dress for $5.00 is a nice deal :). I think the only store that is on track with it's website that I go to is Pacsun, but the items online are cheaper than inside the store, so I usually print out the page and I end up buying the item for the price they give online because they have to respect the pricing, even if it isn't like that inside the store, because the store itself may be pricing the items wrong. Anyway, I shop online and in stores. I shop in stores if I need something immediately, and online if I can wait awhile or if I am just shopping ahead.

Really I can do either or. I will shop online or shop in a store. Sometimes it just depends on what the item is. When it comes to clothes, if it is jeans I would rather try them on, if it's a shirt I will and have ordered from online. Shoes are the same, I'd rather try them on but some styles you either have to go online or drive a long distance just to get a pair.

I would rather shop in person. For clothes, it's a must. It's a lot cheaper (you don't have to pay for shipping, which you do online) and you can actually try something on instead of just guessing what size you are whether or not the item will actually fit. I get better deals in-person too.

I buy clothes from the store I have not bought clothes online. I like to measure the clothes to see how I stand and whether you like it. there are good clothes shops online but prefer to take them from some store. interesting topic. nice day!

I think I bought something online only once. I prefer to buy clothes in the stores. Maybe the clothes I would buy online would be my size, but I'm not sure that they would look on me the way I wanted, even if it was good on the model. I like to try the clothes on before buying, because I see no sense buying something that I might not wear if I don't like it on myself.
