I just afraid that Best Buy would follow circuit city's shoe, it will gradually losing a lot of its loyal customers, and eventually they have to closed down all of its stores. Since Best Buy serving as a big showroom recently for most customers; usually customers coming in to check on the new electronic products, then they can use their smart phone to check it online or elsewhere for cheaper price of the same items. Mostly best buy will lose its competition to Amazon.com, and other online retailers. If they don't revamp themselves, or they don't provide private label products, which nowhere else can be found, they might survive on this capitalism. Otherwise, they might just fallen apart like Circuit City.

Well, losing some BestBuys is not a total loss. Look, there are many places where people could buy appliances at actually better prices. Like PC Richards. And if you're in the market for a computer there is always places like Walmart and Costco. The climate in the USA is changing. The seems to be no more need to mega or super stores. They cost way more to run and it's just not worth it. Maybe BestBuy will start opening smaller more targeted stores. Like a BestBuy for appliances, and one for electronics. That may be more beneficial.

I am sorry to hear that. I think Best Buy is a great store. Which locations are closing? I hope you have a great weekend!

The more competitions there are, the harder to survive. Best Buy has to really put their nose to the grindstone to be better than its competitors, right.

That's sad for Best Buy & their employees. It would really suck to get laid off. Sometimes I'm afraid my company will go under like that. Blockbuster kind of did a thing like that. It's probably because of the 'bad economy' people are buying LESS new electronic products. Plus, like you said, you can buy just about anything new or used for much cheaper through sites like Amazon.

Best Buy is really over priced. They don't offer good deals for customers to stay so that is why customers resort to other sites like Amazon.
