Is It Possible To Surf Through a Website With No Internet Conection?

Hi guys?I ask this question because of a unique website I have come across in the internet.Apparently,the only way to view the website is to actually disconnect your internet provision gadget be it a modem of cable.Outrageous right?That's what I thought until I tried it...
The website has been developed by Webchutney's Creative Director Gurbaksh Singh for Desimartini.com.The website is that of celebrated Indian film actor, media personality and cultural icon Rajinikanth.Try it out by foolowing this link: http://www.allaboutrajni.com
How is it possible to pull this off?According to Rob Ledford on facebook, he says all the website does is upload everything onto your pouter before you disconnect from the internet.Is this true or is there a better explanation to this great idea?

The only way for it to work is to downloa the site onto your computer before you shut off the internet connection. Think about it, if you unplug your landline it's just a phone; if it's not connected to anything then it's useless. It's the same principle; if your computer is not connected to the internet then it has no way of receiving the data.

I agree with u...Bt I want to give some info that the site is about the rajnikant...He is indian actor and it is said that he can do anything...just pulling him...Search for rajnikant jokes....Thanks...

i think that is really like when the site is cached to your system. (saved to your local drive) and it is really just browsing a website offline. but then if they changed something and then you have not downloaded that online, then it won't be available to you when you do not have an internet access.

oye.. hero...some one make it nicely .. I liked it.. but there is no site which can run without internet... it's impossible..
and there is no button to enter the site.. it made on flash.. and all the side buttons are working.....
