Just recently, while doing my daily internet browse, I found something very interesting. The K&Company Smash Journal. I've heard of Smash Journals before, but it seems as if this product does the hard part such as making a smash journal. I have though of buying a plain journal and create it to be a smash journal. However, I have found the smash journals to be no more than $8 bucks on sites like Amazon, Etsy, and Ebay. I am highly considering buying this product, because my memories and experiences are in a cardboard box in my room, probably collecting a month's worth of dust x.x. Anyways I want opinions on the Smash Journal, even if you have a DIY Smash journal I want to hear all the viewpoints. Thanks!

It is highly interesting that by changing the name from scrap book to "Smash journal" they have created a whole new market and possibly new customer base. I used to do this all the time. We had a class (not a real class, it was an after school thing one of our teachers did for fun) in high school on all the "right" ways to put together a scrap book. What kinds of materials should be used so that things didn't get ruined over time ("archival" quality papers and pens), how to set pages up to direct attention where you wanted it most. I started the scrap book my sorority still uses ... wow probably ten years ago, now! It's a lot of fun but I never have anything to put in them anymore.
