I have been shopping around for a couple of months now and think I might have found the laptop that I am most interested in. The Samsung Series 7 Chronos (at BestBuy). It costs $999.99 and it seems perfect for me. I was wondering if anybody else has/had this computer and would like to share their bad or good experience with the machine. I am still looking, but maybe you could influence me decision.

If you're looking to spend that much for that laptop you probably should look into getting a Macbook Air or Pro. I have the air and my mom and little brother have the pro. It's amazing, no worries about viruses and other bad things that can happen. Samsung usually has nice products though. Our hdtv plasma is a samsung and it's wonderful :D

Don't believe that Mac's OS doesn't have a virus any programmer can make a virus for it. Actually there are already some trojans for Mac that steals the usernames and passwords that are saved in their computer. so don't believe in such thing. every OS in the world can have a virus if someone created a virus for that platform or that OS. The bad part of having a Mac. When it is broken why? for example the webcam is broken you would bring it to the nearest apple genius near you and wait for it to be repaired you don't have a computer at home. but for a windows user they should only bring the webcam to the nearest service center of that webcam. they don't have the webcam but they can still use the computer. if the computer is broken the only way to keep your files from your previous Mac is to get a USB cable and to use your previous MAc as a hard drive to another mac. for a windows user well all they need to get is the hard drive and that's it.
