The 10 percent of your income must given to God as your Tithes and offering.Malachi 3:9,10. Or if not,you are robing God's money.God give you work, job to satisfy your daily needs,so only God ask the 10 percent to be given to Him.. And if you did not do that, the consequences will come to you: example, always lack of financial, and sometimes God give us the hard time to make us realize that we don't give to Him,that's why we have money, financial problems...and then creates troubles, and etc..And if you do not have job,you can give offering any amount.. So if we want to live with good and supportive life,Give to God,and God will always bless you,and will not give you the left over..Always give first of income,so God will always provide you first...

oh yeah, we must be able to give back whatever we get from God.. and part of them are our income and blessings, giving a tenth of it is what we ought to give because that is what is due to him.

Yes that's God only ask to give the Tithes, because there are many things hat will use in the Church. So that amount is not so big,and if you want to give more, you can give it.

If we love God, we will give Him his part(tithes). If we love Him we should follow His commandments. It is not called "force" to give God his part it is His commanments.

Hi there, I have been made aware of tithing being biblical but I refuse to believe that God forces us to give, or that He will punish us with misfortune if we violate that rule. I am at a point of building a relationship with God, imagining him to be a loving parent who loves unconditionally and does not require me to be a saint for Him to love me and bless me. I think the principle here is that God loves a cheerful giver and what you sow, you reap. So if you give out kindness, cash or kind, tithes or alms, or simply giving your time, talent and attention, this goodness will multiply and will come back to you. The act of generosity also builds up your optimism and you start counting blessings instead of bad ones and this again attracts more goodness towards you. If we always imagine God as a strict and demanding ruler, then we give out of fear and not out of love. Which is why I try to follow tithing but I do not beat myself up if I couldn't. God knows I tried to do good to my fellowmen even if it wasn't financial and for sure I shall be reaping rewards for that.
