I have heard that most evil doers are belong to Catholic.Don't be offended, because that's' what i heard from people.. and if you go their church, i have done go there before ,like people just standing in the doors, smoking, wear sexy clothes so people will look to them, people who abort, and others things bad they do... But no matter what religion you are,and if you are willing to be change, repent by your sin,and fear God,you will surely change..Not religion will change you,but Jesus will change you spiritually.. And also, the Church must be holy, means the members of the Church separated from any activities of wicked deeds, righteous means separated closed to God doing His right will...

I think the two things are unrelated. Religion is something that you have in your head and you satisfy your need to such by praying or going to some sort of religious gathering. The act of killing it something some people are driven to either by some sort of mental disturbance or by outside circumstances forcing them to take this drastic step. The two acts have different and usually unrelated motivations

not related to,and the action of their bad deeds is base on what they think and do evil . It is no good mind, and even they know and teach by truth, they did not repent to what wicked they do.

Killers don't have any religion. Most of the terrorists are Muslims, but I don't think they are true Muslims. Many people say that Islam is not a religion.Instead,it is politics in disguise.I neither agree nor disagree with it.I have not read the Koran. The only thing I know is that killers don't belong to any religion.A religion is related with spirituality and spirituality can never allow us to kill anybody. I agree with you that if you surrender yourself to God,you get redeemed of your sins.

I don't think being a Catholic or Muslim or any other religion has to do with people who kills or do bad things. I guess it's really an individuals characteristic if he is born that way or if he choose to be that way. Probably he is influence by his environment or the family that he has grown up with but not because of his religion. Religion in any form does not teach us to do evil but to do good all the time. Religion does not guarantee that we are accepted to be with God in heaven. We should live what God wants us to be in order to be called His follower. Yes, if we sinned it's really a great deed if we turn away from our sin and get back to God after all He is our Creator and the Master of all things!

Yes that's individual sins, influences, and maybe some problems in their heart that is not fix and do more sins live every day with no repentance. They go to their religion and no change, still is not to be change because God is not their real God in heart.Every one has own choices, and its only depends on us people, either to repent,or not ..But God is always there waiting for those wicked to be repented and be forgiven.

It has nothing to do with religion. Religion teaches us the basic things, the doctrine, the do's and the don'ts yet it is still up to the person how he lives and works on his salvation. Sad that some people choose the other way. Maybe the reason why Christians or catholics are most accounted for when it comes to criminal statistics is because we comprise the bigger population. But the thing is, that is just numbers. I have heard of non-Christians who have done much worse than ten Christian criminals combined. But because he is just one person he just makes up like 1 or 5% of the population. It's really just relative.

The ten commandments itself is the simplest way to follow God's will. Even that is hard enough for some people.

Hi befrindwithme, One doesn't have to belong to a religion to know that killing is wrong and no religion has a monopoly on killing. Killers belong to all religions and some have no religion at all. Most people who kill another never plan on doing so and almost everyone is capable of killing another under certain circumstances. Many killers also have mental and emotional problems and were never treated for it. I am not a Catholic but certainly it is unfair to say that most killers are Catholic and no religion has the whole truth. Blessings.

They usually belong to hate organizations and members of trigger-happy clubs, not religion belief or faith based group. It is quite simple to understand. Majority of them don't have any faith in religion at all except in their own shallow personal understanding on life.

I don't know the figures to answer this truthfully, but there seems to be a lot of killing on the Muslim side. A lot more through history then any other religious group.

I'm proud to be a ROMAN CATHOLIC! We live in a democratic country and each one of us has a right to choose on what to do, what to wear... everything. There's no need to tell anyone that "Hey you are in a holy place, you need to wear appropriately". If you are truly human, in the first place, you must know how to act as human and for sure knew what morality is. This is not a matter of religion. This is a matter of treating life in a proper way. A lot of human beings nowadays, treat themselves as animals.

Religion has nothing to do with killings. This is unfair.

That's like asking what race they are, what country they're from, whether they're male or female, if they're straight or gay, if they're tall or short... it's irrelevant and a generalisation.

Those people have hastily made conclusions based on a very small percentage of the Catholic populace, and that I think is unfair. Seeing a few people do those things they purport doesn't mean most Catholics are evil doers. Oh, well, I guess they don't read their Bible (if they're Christians, that is). He who is without sin cast the first stone... (there are a lot of versions actually of this but this is the simplest one to understand :)

The "Thou shall not kill" commandment has been repeated by Jesus, and murder is a grave evil for Catholics like for other religions. I have never seen somebody smoking in a church, but I remember that women had to cover their heads to enter in a church when I was very young. There is no requirement about attires to enter in a church today : people are there to pray, never mind their clothes.

It's not the religion that makes someone better or worse than others. It rather comes from understanding universal laws, which are present in every religion, like not killing is one of them. Often even non religious people know what is a sin and what is not. But if people understood and followed their religion, and not just said what they are, there would be less problem.

to get a correct count we would have to know who the most killers are in the first place..
