i was just thinking, i need to start doing things different and keeping track of how many post i make to mylot, if nothing else just for my own reference id like to know how many post daily i do on mylot.. do you keep track as well ? do you go by how many post you make? do you have a quota ? or do you have a set time and go by the time you spend on mylot ? just wondering how everyone else does it..

The simplest and most meaningful to keep track of our activities on Mylot, is simply to visit every so often, our profile page. You will find them written all your statistics. I personally, as try to keep the media in commenting about 10 messages a day, every day I make 10 squares on a sheet. In proportion as I say, I put in each box, an "X". This more than anything else I need to try every day to achieve this target. I confess however that not every day I fill all 10 boxes.

I am amazed by how many Myloters keeping track on their performances. I have never thought of keeping a record of what I doing but it seems like a good idea. I think I will start keeping one soon.

yes it is a great idea.. i am keeping track now.. they way im doing it for now, whoch we will see if it works just trying it out.. i make a list from one to 10 and every time i answer a post i put a check like for my first response i would put a check under number one, and for my next responce i would put a check under number two and so on until i get to ten, then i will number on to twenty and if you do it this way your doing ten post at a time.. and it seems to be working well as im on number 13 and i just got started.. oh and if i ask a question i will check it as well and i will circle it. to know how many questions i ask... so im hoping this system will help me earn more.. and i from getting feed back from everyone it seems to be not just the amount you do but how much you type and effort you put into your posts.. so im trying to do better on that as well..but the main thing is to take your time and have fun.. thats my new theory.. thanks gor commenting..

I started noticing the the total number of discussions before and after my participation. I just hope this will help since I plan to set a target every day.

I set personal goals for myself, but the goals that I have for myself have changed a lot since I first started using mylot. There used to be a time when my goal was to make fifty posts in a day. However, now, I don't have the same kind of time to dedicate to mylot, so instead of having a goal of 50 posts per day, I instead maintain a daily goal of making twenty posts during the course of the day. I wish that my goal could be more because then I would know that I would be able to make payout every month.

I think 50 is a great goal if you have the time to do it... im still trying to determine a good number for me.. since i dont have a job i can do alot more last night i did 40 and the day before that i hit 90.. but it took alot of time and i managed to clean my house in between.. so i will probably set my goal at 50 and anything over that will be a bonus.. i have already done 9 today..but probably wont get past 50 today becasue i have to leave and go to my appointment in about and hour .. but for today i will be happy if i just get 20.. but soot for 50.. just in case.. i am happy that i will reach my payout soon.. trying to decide if i want it then or want to build it up and wait.. but have a few bills i need to pay so i dunno yet.. i will see how sooon i get the option and go from there ..have fun today.. take care.. :)

not actually. i am doing mylot in between work i can not definitely have a quota. haha. i can do it more during breaks and it doesn't matter how many i post. i have just particular with the numbers of post i made when i am below 500. i really want to reach 500 that is why i am working here hard but when i have reached, that's it. i can't explain further why because i really don't know. haha.

for me it is different i do not have a job, so i am at home, but that does not mean i have all the time in the world either as i have the home to run, doing errands, appointments, keeping the house clean, and cooking my husbands lunch and all that stuff so i have to try and fit it in ..i could set on mylot all day but my house work would pile up terrible.. so i try to do as many post as i can.. i just like keeping track to know how im doing.. but i do set a quota as well and aim for that.. thanks for commenting, im really glad that you can get on mylot at work.. i know if i had a job outside the home it would be hard for me to mylot so your doing good... have a great day..

You can check your statistics on your mylot profile page, it is the easiest way to see your participation here. Personally, I don't keep track of my participation as I don't have a set amount of time I spend here on mylot. Whenever I get some free time during the day I come here and respond to as many posts that I find intersting so my participation level varies every day...

i have honestly thought about making a goal for each day but i have never actually done so. i come to mylot and do waht i can and that is about all. i go through my email and reply back to all of those or comment on my friends new discussions and then if i have time i will start a few of my own or i will find some new ones to comment on and look out for a response. i come to mylot to have fun and it is just a plus to earn while doing so. i may still make a goal but for now i am enjoying my time here. i think that when i have a goal i will not make as much because i will be so worried about meeting that goal and not of the quality of my post/comment. everyone does it diffrently and everyone has their own way of doing things but it is nice to hear how others do it may be that way we all learn something new. me i enjoy juswt going with the flow and not trying to rush to pay out time. i didnt make it my 1st month here (last month) but next month i know ill have it and that is nice but i am not stresing it. i wouldnt worry about a goal i would just enjoy everything that mylot has to offer :) but like i said before everyone has their own opinion... let us know how it works for you (making the goal) i am curious to see how it works for you :)

well for now, im doing pretty good.. i did ok yesterday, and did make more posts then i thought but tuesday i hit way above my quota and did realy well.. and i will hit my pay out sooner then i thought.. so im happy..for my system as of now, but it may change, as with bi polar that happens lol.. but i get a piece of paper, and i will star by numbering it 1-10 and when i make my first post for the day i put a check mark beside number 1.. and then number 2 and 3 and right on unitl i reach 10.. post.. then after i get my 10 i will number my paper 11-20 and i will put checks by each number as well then i go to 21-30 and do the same thing.. and keep going until i get tired, its an easy way to keep track and to seperate the questions i do. i will check mark it and then circle that number so i know how many questions i started As well.. this post here is number 10 for me this morning, and doing it by ten at a time really can make you reach your goal faster..it does for me.. but i always take my time and make good quality post.. even if i dont it my goal..for the day..

Sometimes I do when I wondered why I earn that amount in one day. But I do not take down, I went to the discussion I responded to look at and count the discussion I responded in that day. I don't have a quota since sometimes I can't see good discussion to respond too.

i seem to do better when i write things down, i guess it gives me structure and somehting to go on.. i even do a list wiht house work so for me it just seems natural to make a list.. or keep track.. and that way i know how much work i have put into it.. and it will help me to keep track of my time on mylot and my tinme to clean house..so i can get both done.. when i reach my quota i know i can quit and feel i have done a great job on mylot for that day.. it just works best for me..but like my mom use to ask me why i always made a lsit for housework she said it was silly.. but it makes perfect sense to me..and makes my life easier.. thanks for commenting have fun today..

laken when I first came I did the quota and was not making but peanuts and having headaches trying to reach quotas. then I learned it is quality posts they want not a zillion inane crappy things. so I did a lot fewer and I started having fun commenting to others comments and I was relaxed and enjoying myself.I was startled to see I was really making some good earnings.so I learned it pays to make really q uality posts and making a lot does not add to q uality and you DO NOT make a lot of earnings doing that at all. you earn for quality posts that are meaty and meaningful too.So no I do not count posts but I see the number after my name noving up I am happy too.so many here make one short sentence posts and many of them and they just do not understand they are not going to be paid for that crap at all.make them meaty, meaningful and posts that move and further the discussions along.,

i agree with that, i always try to make my answer or question more then one sentence each time i write.. even when answering someone back who answered mine i sometimes find it hard to comment a long senetence on that one but most of my writings are more then one sentence.. as i understand what you are saying and it makes perfect sense.. thanks for the great information..

I don't really keep track of my posts. Lately I've been checking to see how close I am to bypassing another user, that's my way of keeping ahead and earning to my potential. My goal is to be up with Hatley and GG with the top ranks.

Well, I keep track on my post. As much as possible, I answer 10 post in mylot. On the other hand, If I posted a topic, I make sure that I respond on each. Once I have my own topic, I rarely participate on other topics. I just participate once I can relate with the topic and I know that I can contribute something about it. Mylot is a really addicting site. Especially if you want to have the earnings fast, you cannot go away with mylot.I am hoping that I can get a payout here monthly but I realize I cannot because of my busy schedule. For me, mylot is a piggy bank. I just save all the money I can earn in participating here.

you know my friend told me to just keep doing mylot all year long and let it build up for a year and at the end of the year i would have quite a bit build up.. im not sure after 100.00 if we have to take that amonunt then or can build .. it is an idea and would be christmas money.. which is always great to have or kinda like a nest egg.. so i dont know.. but for me that would be the better things to do rahter then just getting 10.00 at a time.. but i guess it depends on if im in dire need of money as well.. thanks for commenting , i do 10 post at a time as well.. and only comment on what interest me too.. have fun..

Hi laken: I try not too think too much about how many post I made here, because I don't want to feel any pressure on what I do. I just participate on the subjects I feel attracted and I do things by heart and it works at least for me. The best results I get are when I am enjoying what I do on the site. ALVARO

i do enjoy my time on mylot as well. but because i dont work outside the home i need all the extra money i can get.. i guess for me its not bill money its just extra spending money so i dont have to ask my husband for money as i hate asking him.. so it is a income for me..
