Im UP early for once and it feels great, so far ive had a great morning i may do this every day , i feel great today, and im not one bit sleepy.. my husband works second shift so since he gets in late and we go to bed late i have always gotten up later.. so today i had to make an important phone call so i had to get up early.. and i decided to stay up and not go back to bed.. so i took a hot bath and washed my hair.. and got ready for the day.. and now im on mylot and i feel really good like it is going to be a great day.. i cant wait to go for a walk later.. i say this with joy becasue usualy when i get up late like i have been doing i feel terrible with no energy.. so tomorrow i will try to get up early as well. just might go to be a little sooner.. what time do you go get up of a morning are you a night owl or and early bird ?

I am an early bird. I usually get up at 4 am to get to work and even on my days off I am up pretty early as I like getting an early start....if I sleep in too late I feel like I missed half the day!

it is just what you get use to.. i never liked getting up early as a kid and after school i was like i will do everything on 2nd shift so i can sleep late so i built my life around that and then my husband working 2nd shift for the 8 years we have been married fell right into my plan.. so i just never wanted to get up early until now.. i guess time does change people.. im just tired of getting up late in the day and feeling like i been hit by a train.. i always felt bad when i first got up.. and latley it has taken a toll on me so time for a change for the better good luch to you thanks for commenting

I'm not a night owl but I do love to stay in bed in the morning until at least 8-9 p.m. But do I get to do that? Almost never ever, so I get up 6-7 and try to get back to sleep after the rest of the crew have waken up and just don't seem to get anymore sleep. I will say I'm not a good sleeper either, and I prefer to sleep from maybe 11-8 or 9 most times but that schedule doesn't go well with the others who live here. Ha.

I felt terrible waking up late it feels like I can't get up my head is heavy. That was so many years, I'm still in a night life because of my work. But since I slow down with my work I learned to wake up early and I found out there is very big difference sleeping at night time than day time. I really feels fresh every time I woke up early I can still feels the cold breeze outside not like before waking up late, I can feel the warm air outside. Keep it up laken it is nice to have a morning walk for exercise.

thank you i will.. tomorrow i may do it different but today i will take my walk at 2 when my hubby leaves for work.. its time to get him up now and get ready to start lunch.. unless i take a walk while he is in the shower that might work. i like to be here when he leaves to say goodbye.. just like at night i cant go to bed unitl i know he is home from work.. tonight he is on ot so it will be late when he gets in.. but i know i felt better getting up today then i did all week sleeping late.. so there has to be something to it..just not sure what yet, thanks and take care..

I'm a night owl myself, I prefer working late at night after everyone in the house has gone to sleep. That's not to say I get up late either, I'm usually up before seven most mornings after having gone to bed at about 3 or 4. Having so little sleep probably should be unhealthy, but I haven't experienced any negative side effects yet beyond occasionally feeling tired. I agree that getting up early is great for feeling energetic, though I don't know why that is. Maybe it's just something biological to do with getting up just as the sun is rising or...something.

I don't have my own car yet (getting one in the next few months hopefully) so I have to rely on others to take me places. I asked if I could go to walmart and the one taking me said sure but later in the day. I didn't want that so opted to go real early, and asked if he wouldn't mind. He didn't. I set my alarm but forgot to turn it ON so I woke up a little later but still had time to go shop quickly. That was around 6:40 in the morning this morning. I went back to bed at 8 and got back up at 10:30. I much prefer being up late at night as opposed to way early in the morning myself.

i dont have a car yet either so i know how that is.. and i am in the habit of staying up late and waiting on my husband to come home from work.. i have always been a night person, so this is new to me getting up early.. but im glad i did i got alot done this morning.. while my husband was asleep.. and i know he likes me better to be up already and awake as opposed to the old me who could barely get out of bed before 11.. i really think im gonna like this new hours.. i got a job interview for the weekend shift so if i get it i will be working 7-10 so i will have to get up early for that so may as well get use to it.. cant wait to have this part time job , extra money for me to spend.. of my own.. thanks for commenting have a gret evening..

It is really good when you have a good night sleep and then waking up p-retty early ready for the day! =) When you wake up earlier than usual, you would be able to do so much more work done, right?
