One of the activities we had in Kota Kinabalu was the Island Hopping trip around 3 islands in Tunkhu Abdul Rahman Park. Our first stop was at the Mamutik Island, where we had a good swim and snorkelling adventure. Then, we dropped by Manukan Island which had a great beach front but I was disappointed seeing a lot of garbage in the water. We had our lunch, at our last stop, Sapi Island. The place was great and I love it the most among the 3. I do hope KK tourism would do something with the islands' maintenance especially that more and more tourists come to see the place.

I enjoyed reading about the island hopping that you did. I adore doing an island hopping trip. I love snorkeling around some colorful coral and see all the pretty fish. In 2004 I went to the Seychelles and visited Mahe Island, Praslin Island and La Digue. In 2005 I went to the Maldives and visited Asdo Island and its neighbor, Male Island the capital and Gan Island. From Gan Island I cycled up an island chain.

Sounds like you had much fun. I heard Maldives has gret beach resorts and would like to plan a trip to the place. But, they say Male is not a very inviting and safe place to be.
