Cop shows those are nice

There are SO many crime-related shows out there! We have Law & Order, Law & Order Criminal Intent, Law & Order SVU, NCIS, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY (etc), NCIS: Los Angeles, NYPD Blue, and sooo many more it seems like! My favorite out of those definitely has to be NCIS. The characters and plots are priceless. In fact, I may have to go watch some (I have the seasons on DVD) right now, since you mentioned it... I love anything to do with crime though. I find it kind of fascinating. Except for committing it, of course I don't do that. (I swear, officer!!). Sometimes I wonder why we as people are all so infatuated by this enough to have about 18 different shows on the air about crime-solving.

I think many of these shows glorify the police. That said, I am a big fan of NCIS and used to watch all of the Law and Order shows, although now there is only on left (Special Victims Unit). Blue Bloods is another newer show that we now have. Criminal Minds looks at profiling that the FBI does. I used to even watch DaVinci's Inquest although it was never on network TV here.

I actually hate cop shows. I think there are way too many of them. Most shows these days are about doctors, lawyers, devious housewives, or cops. The only show I watch on Television is Once Upon a Time, because I'm a big fantasy fan. Well, even that show has a main character who's now a county sheriff... but that's not the point of the show at least! As for corrupt cops, it's television and in reality corrupt cops are everywhere and the bad guys usually get away at the end. Television lies.

Hi deodavid, please don't get it twisted....those cop shows are just that,,,,shows...But the corruption is in the police departments here in the USA as well... Now don't get me wrong, there are some good police in the justice system but there are certainly some BAD one in the mix as well....
