hi friends. when i was watching the mumbai versus chennai contest,i was amazed by how raina can turn from zero to hero by just changing into yellow jerseys. do you know what that means? may be Raina is supposed to play for the aussies or just CSK. since we have many talents like raina, yusuf, ashwin who perform exceedingly well when wearing their club jerseys but struggle with the BLEED BLUE jersey, may be BCCI should allow them to wear those. may be even allow dhoni to wear them to see if his captaincy improves.lol

May be they are comfortable when they play at home, rather than international grounds.

Seems no one is getting what you actually mean and the irony in your post.

You have rightly said that they are good in the indian conditions so they are scoring really well in the IPL and when they go in the Australia or England they are not able to play well.

Hi It is not like that. Raina is the good player. He used to be tailed hand batsman in our Indian cricket team. So he get less chances to prove him self. But still he is doing well. Even in Asia cup and in Australia he played good innings. Yes he made not big scores but that's what his job. Hitting at the end. He is surely a good talent for team India and surely he deserve the position in team India. After all he is also a good fielder. He is stopping many runs and making many batsmen out by taking outstanding catches.

In my opinion, Raina needs lot of technical advice. Though he has power in his bat, many times he plays mindless shots. If there is a perfect adviser, he could be even better than what he is now.

Hi stardustcdsd, I do appreciate your concern but let's not forget that Raina has overall been a good ODI player for us. The fact is that he bats lower down the batting order, which doesn't leave him much scope to score 50s and 100s. Despite that, he's averaging in the mid 30s, is a useful bowler and an excellent fielder. I'm sure he'll improve if given more opportunities in the top 4, which doesn't seem possible until Sachin is there. Hopefully he'll get his due in the next year or two after Sachin retires and then come to his own.

I had came to see that most of the players especially youngsters do their best efforts in the IPL season than they they are in their team but still there are some who is quite consistent to what he is. These includes Kholi,Dhoni,Shewag and others. My opinion is that all of them must be a reflecting mirror of such consistent players.

There are many players who play exceedingly well in the IPL and they are not able to play the same way in the Indian Team.It could also be because of the fact that when they are playing for the Indian team as they are under tremendous pressure to keep there place in the Indian Team and in the clubs they are sure to play in team and the other point is they are playing in home conditions so they play really well in the IPL.

Raina played well in bangladesh. He is doing it intentionally. He played well in indian condition. there is nothing in pitch and other things.

you are not right every plqyer play in same way they play in anh tournament it doesn't matter what they perform. No one want to do bad even if he is playing a street cricket. Well this thought is your anger like of many Indians who were feeling bad and iffcourse fire in head due to so bad performance. It's not only raina who failed but all player's failed, also t20 is different from test and even odi. Well ay it humorus to read this discussion.

Your statement had a strong point in that. It is true that some players plays outstandingly well in IPL but proved to be a big failure in national cricket team. There are only few players who are consistent in both forms like kohli, gambir etc..
