Yay! A judge has determined the woman (and the group involved) who tried to sue McDonalds and get rid of happy meal toys is a moron!! Ok that is just my wording but I think it's GREAT and I am very very excited that finally for once, common sense and decency prevail! How do you feel about McDonalds' happy meal toys? The moronic woman and her followers have tried to claim that McDonalds 'lures' small children and MAKES parents buy them happy meals with toys which can lead to obesity and poor health. Excuse me, I am a parent. Anybody else who is a parent - do you actually LET your children drag you around by the nose and FORCE you to buy them things? I don't. If you do, well, you're like this woman and you are a moron. End of story. I don't even feel sorry for you if you act that way. Grow up, get some balls, and be the parent. Hah!

LOL! I wonder why people always think when someone defends McDonalds that it means they eat there all the time. I certainly don't, but if I feel like it, I will get food there. I just thought it was especially stupid how they tried to claim that toys MAKE kids FORCE their parents to bring them to McDonalds. If my daughter asks and I don't want to go there, I don't. Easy as that. Now if I DO want to go there, nothing short of a hurricane/fire/earthquake/flood altogether at once is going to stop me from going there!

yaayyy.... i dun know if the toys the offer at the restaurants in your country is the same as the ones offered in ours.. but i am just glad anyways.. I TOO.. DO NOT take my children to eat at McDonalds everyday.. in fact, we only go there once in a few months - when someone craves for it, i guess.. and when i do - i am the one more excited to get the toys more than my young kids - (they're pretty cute sometimes). But seriously, it is really ridiculous for any parent to blame anyone else for their children eating habits - since we are the ones 'providing' the food for them - i wonder if the other brands - Wendy's / Carl Jr / Burger King - offer any 'Kid's Meals with Toys' - shouldn't they be sued, too ??..

Many places offer kids meals with some sort of toy, and from a economic standpoint, it's not even worth it to get them sometimes because the toys are junk - however sometimes we like them because they are from a current kids movie or show, or a throwback to when I was little, like when they had little ponies and strawberry shortcake figures. I usually get happy meals when my daughter's school has their monthly 'eat with your child day' and I bring her a happy meal for lunch and eat with her. I know that pretty soon she will be too big for the kids meals and toys because even now she will sometimes eat more than a kids meal portion. She doesn't beg me to go to McDonalds or Burger King or any type of fast food all that often, and I only go if I'm craving it or in the event I'm not home, not near home, and don't have time to go home lol. One thing I dislike about fast food places is how expensive the fruit sometimes is, apple slices aren't too bad but some places that might offer small salads or mixed fruit - a serving costs more than a burger or an order of french fries!

I agree. The toys certainly do not have anything to do with obesity or poor health. McDonald's isn't the only one that uses "lures" to attract customers and it's crazy that anyone would try to pick that particular thing out to try an sue them. My children have had influence on me about certain items but they are by no means leading me around by the nose..LOL.

It sounds like the case was very stupid to begin with. I know people have tried to sue McDonald's and other fast food places saying they are offering unhealthy food. I am like - no one made you go there and eat it! It's stupid. Tell your children NO! sheesh!!! Glad the courts had some sense on this one!

Really! People yell about choices all the time well guess what? I want the choice to eat unhealthy stuff everywhere I go if I choose. So there. Doesn't mean I will choose it all the time, or even part of the time, but I don't need some moron trying to take away my choice because THEY can't tell their kid no and their kid is 7 and weighs 120 lbs. Not my fault. Same with the guy who sued them over coffee. Coffee is hot. Even a person with an IQ of 50 will figure that out after awhile. How about the jerk who tried to sue Oreo? If you don't like the cookies, DON'T BUY AND EAT THEM. I would have tracked him down and reported him to the FBI if he messed with my cookies People are so weird these days!

Are you angry? Sorry. He he Anyway, relax. He he For me, McDonalds’ happy meal toys are okay. There is nothing wrong with it. There is no connection between the foods we eat at Mcdonald and the happy meal toys. It still depends on the parents if the parents want to buy a happy meal toys for their children or not. I think McDonalds’ happy meal toys are okay.
