Hi. I would just like to ask for some advices regarding how to handle long distance relationships. I have been into one and my boyfriend and I are going steady for four months now. However, due to distance, there are times that I get so irritated and frustrated. There are times when I just miss him so much that frustration takes its toll on me. Is long distance relationship could really last? And if yes, how can I hold on and make my relationship last? I need your advices friends. :)

I know how you feel. I've been in an LDR for longer than a year now, and it can get very difficult at times. She lives in another country and most of the time we only speak through text/webcam. If it wasn't for that, I would be at wits' end. Make it a point to speak to him every couple of days, even if its an email, or a text message; just a few words like "how was your day?" or something like that can go a really long way to making you feel closer when you are far apart. Also, when you know you won't be seeing each other for a while, distract yourself. For me, it means starting a new series of books, training for longer hours or spending more time with art. Things that will hold your mind and focus. It won't be easy at first, but slowly you'll begin to see how time begins to fly :) Hope this helps :)

it all depends on the people i believe im in a similar situation you just have to make it work, are you guy's in love? do you guys act like your rite there next to each other, because it works, cater to him/her and have him/her cater to you on the phone as well.
