General Hospital, The Revolution and Katy Couric

I read that Katy Couric would prefer that her talk show follow General Hospital rather than The Revolution because of the low ratings that The Revolution has been getting. The article mentioned that The Revolution has much lower ratings than One Life to Live which it replaced had at the same time of year last year. It also mentioned that the ratings for The Revolution were much lower than those for General Hospital. My local ABC station has been advertising that a Kay Couric talk show would start in Sept. but if they have given a time slot, I missed it. So the possibilities in my time zone and for my ABC station are Couric's show knocks GH off the air and follows The Revolution, her show knocks out The Revolution out and precedes GH, it follows GH and Ellen goes away which is highly unlikely, or GH replaces The revolution and is on an hour earlier and her show follows GH.

Even though The Revolution is getting lower ratings, it costs less to make. However, I have a lot of hope that ABC will listen to Katie Couric and keep General Hospital instead. Couric was vocal about not wanting to deal with angry soap fans boycotting her show. I really think The Revolution will be canceled and GH will be renewed for at least one more year.

I havent even watched the Revolution as I am sick and tired of hearing all the health and loose weight and all that. THey act like everyone just has tons of money to be able to do all that. And I don't watch The Chew as all they do is glorify food and the hosts are so annoying I want to scream! So they have the Chew to make and eat food, then the Revolution to loose weight and not eat. I along with so many others...can't afford to eat health as they say... I can't afford the food/fixin's required to "eat healthy"!!! I heard they might change the time of GH...maybe put it at noon or 1 oclock. I could go for that...and I think many viewers would too... who takes lunch at 2:00? That is the common time to leave to go pick up kids at school. Lot of viewers can't watch GH at 2, but if they put it at noon or one...viewers could watch while on lunch hour, just before the kids get home or have to leave to get them...etc. And then I think the fans would come back and viewer=ship would come back and the show wouldn't be cancelled for "non-viewing".

Oh, and by the way...if I have to see one more talk show hosted by a woman who has everything and have her tell me how life is... I will Scream!!! No, I will cancel my tv service and just watch DVD's from shows in the past! Good grief..that is all they have on daytime shows these days....talk shows. Bring back the soap opera where we can have fun and be entertained!
