what a nice day it turned out to be..

hubby and i had a great day today he was off for the holiday.. so we mowed the yard together i did the front he did the back since it was alot bigger.. then we went to the store and got things to have a grill out.. togther we made the most wonderful supper, he grilled chicken and hamburgers on the grill, and we made homemade baked beans and cream style corn , and got a pot of cabbage cooking for later.. the supper turned out great we even ate at the table together which we never do..
and the weather could not have been better not to hot not too cold... so this has been a day i will remember.. not often we spend time together like this.. i need this as well.. i even ran into my grandbaby at the store.. made me smile ..

Actually, today was not really a good day at all for me, although the end of the day turned out to be pretty good. It started out with me seeing that my husband's paycheck for last week was significantly less than what I expected (and what we needed it to be) and because of that I've been pretty mad at him.
So, I needed to get away from the house for a while to just think about things. Well, I ended up going to see a friend of mine and have him change the oil in my car. We also had some time to talk and that was something that was really good for me because he is a great friend of mine and I don't get to spend time with him very often.

its good that you have someon close to talk to, i have a good friend that live sin walking distance to me and we talk alot but she is so busy with lots of things going on right now we never do get to go out and spend time together and i have 2 good online friends, that i talk too.. they help alot as well, but as for going out and about i dont have anyone but hubby and he always wants to go visit his parents and i get bored so i do mylot ... take care hope things get better
