I recently read a book called Triple Doors written by HanHan although I had already read this book three times. It was a book about a boy named Lin Yuxiang and his story of growing up. He was a typical boy in our society. He faced many common problems when he was growing up such as study issues, getting along with classmates, drinking, smoking, and the relationship with the girl he liked, to name but a few. These realistic problems made him change his attitudes in different period. I first read this book when I was studying in high school. I bought it because Triple Doors was the most popular book in that year. After read it, I thought I had never read such a excellent book at that time. Many young people also had the same feeling. And HanHan who was just a young man soon became a super writer because of this superior work. I thought that he had described the most realistic phenomenons among young people. Few other writers did it before. So he had successfully captured millions of readers' minds. I learnt a lot from this book. There were plenty of realistic description so I learnt how to distinguish what was good and what was bad. It made me more mature anyway. For me it was a classical book so I really want to read it again. It seems that I will never be tired of reading it. What about you ? Have you got a book you recently read that you would like to read again? :)

There is a series by Fern Michaels called...well actually it is a trilogy...the first is called kentucky Heat, Kentucky Rich and Kentucky Fury... that is where it starts with this Coleman family. Early 1900's. That one I didn't care to much for, but then I found out about it after I had read the other two in the trilogy and they are hard to beat. Then the family ends up in Las Vegas, with Vegas Heat, Vegas Rich and Vegas Fury...in the 1940's thru early 60's. Amazing, "can't put it down" books. THen the family ends up in Texas with Texas Rich, Texas Heat and Texas Fury, which is where I started (ended up reading the trilogy backwards!) And again, totally amazing and great and can't put them down! And the last book...Texas Sunrise, is when the family's ranch is wiped out by a tornado and the new youngster to the clan have the chance to rebuild the empire. Texas saga was in the 1980's and 90's. I didn't like Kentucky one much, so I say just start with the Vegas three and then go to the Texas ones. It is amazing how the author leads you through the families lives and generations. Truely a wonderful series.

I read The Hunger Games Trilogy in recent weeks, and I really enjoyed it. Although I am an adult and it is a book for teens, I found myself hooked and managed to read all of the three books in the space of a week which was good for me. The first book of the three is now a film and I want to go and see that before I re-read the series, but I am just waiting for my family to find a day that they're all free at the same time and then we will go and see it. I like to read books more than once. If I enjoyed it the first time then why wouldn't I want to enjoy it all over again!
