I am an English learner from China. I want to pick some English websites to get original news from U.S and Europe. I know some like Yahoo, CNN, NPR, NYTimes, Reuters.... But I can't distinguish what emphasis these websites focus on and which field they specialize in..
So here I need some suggestion. I want to know more about 1.U.S domestic news, 2.int'l news, 3.objective politics news. 4.Soccer news ,I am also a big European soccer fans, I am tied of those second news from our country website, so is there such a website including all news of main european soccer league like England, Spain and Italy??

I use this site for UK news:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/
and this one for Italian news:
http://ansa.it/web/notizie/rubriche/english/english.shtml
Both give, in my opinion, unbiased news and report whatever is happening withoyt making it sound like gossip.

I don't follow soccer/football anymore. It has become all about money and the latest scandals in Italy are atrocious
This site has all the latest news:
http://football-italia.net/

Well when it comes to news I use a couple of greek sites, news24.gr and cosmo.gr are a couple of them and some news blog sites. When it comes to sports I use 2-3 sites like contra.gr sport24.gr and prasinanea.gr. About other sites I usually use them when I try to find a certain story.
