What is Wrong With Josh Beckett?

Watching the Red Sox and Tigers game today, I'd have to say that I was less than impressed with Josh Beckett. So many of his pitchers screamed to the Tigers' hitters, "Hit me, hit me hard!" The pitches seemed to be right in their for them to pounce on. He is not the Beckett of two, three, and four years ago. I am not sure if his injuries are affecting him or what it is. He seems to be a bit out-of-sync mentally as well, unlike the obviously confident Beckett of the past. Yes, the Tigers have one of the best batting line-ups in baseball so far this season, however they shouldn't have hit Beckett as hard as they did. Being a Red Sox fan, I really hope that Beckett can rebound and still have a good season, but what I saw today really worried me. How does everyone else think Beckett's season will end up?
