Paypal horror stories

Now I'm not trying to bad mouth Paypal here. But there's been a lot of complaints against Paypal.
This site http://www.screw-paypal.com/ and this site http://www.aboutpaypal.org/
actually talks about the users experience with Paypal. None of them have anything good to say about Paypal.
So do any of you have any bad experience? If none then any good ones?
Is there a way for My Lot users to cash out without Paypal? (I use MoneyBookers)

Oh well, Paypal is such a big company and I guess we can't satisfy all the people.
Fortunately, I never got any big problem with Paypal and hopefully will never happen. I quite dislike their high fees, so that I prefer Liberty Reserve, but other than that, it is just fine..
And nope, currently Paypal is the only payment processor that MyLot use and I don't think they will add another ones..

In the end I made a Paypal account.. :P
But I'm not linking my bank account to Paypal..
When the money reaches $100 in Paypal I'm transferring it to MoneyBookers using a online service.

@Trin
Make sure that those online services allow you to have unverified Paypal account when sending money to them, some sites require people to verify their Paypal account first before they send/receive the money.

Oh, well.
By the way, with less fees, I feel that Liberty Reserve's security protection is better than Paypal. But they don't provide mechanism to charge back. So, once you send money to someone, there's no way for you to claim the money back, unlike Paypal that provide the dispute process.. :)

I have been a Paypal client for over 14 years now, both has a buying customer and as a merchant seller with no complaints or problems whatsoever. I looked at both of the sites you listed and thought they were total jokes! All I could envision was a handful of scammers whining because PayPal froze their accounts.
Paypal doesn't freeze accounts for no reason. A merchant must give them reason to freeze their account; example - frequent refund requests from customers. If you ask anyone doing business online legitimately, I believe you will not find any negative comments. If you ask any customer who has tried to work with a merchant that provided poor or no service to get a refund and you will hear no complaints.
Cheers,
Stan

Well, getting account limited was the hardest part for most people. Since most people that are complaining on anti paypal sites said that they never get their money or account back after their account was limited. Same with ebay sellers and all.

Well, at first i am also afraid to use Paypal. Since every time i want to start something new on the net like earning online, i would do my homework and investigate every single little things about the site, especially customer service. I've heard so many bad things about Paypal. But since it is the largest payment processor and i would say all kind of shop website use it as their payment option, and i am a big fan of online shopping, i say that i would give it a try. And it's been like 4 years being Paypal user and there's a little bump now and there, but i think they are quite good and you don't have to afraid about being ripped off when buying on ebay. All you need when using Paypal is keep your account in good standing, provide no false information at all and you are good.

Paypal is not the only way that one can withdraw money from Mylot. One can withdraw money using Alertpay which changed its name to payza when they were taken over by a UK based company. They specialize in bank transfers to various countries and also deal with various currencies. However it is always safe to maintain two accounts. You could have a paypal account and a payza account as well.

It's the only way myLot gives us our earning so I'm stuck with it. Not that I mind. I have not had any issues so far with Paypal and I hope it'll stay that way.

One thing to bear in mind is numbers. How many people actually have problems with Paypal vs those that have never had any problems with? These sites are designed for unhappy customers, merchants, or any individuals that are not happy with Paypal. These would discourage people that are thinking about signing up for an account.
I've been having Paypal for awhile now; don't remember exactly when I signed up. It has probably been more than 10 years and so far I have not had any problems with it. Well, the minor problems I had was on my end.
Paypal has become a big company and its success is undeniable. Of course, public would not really know whether the company is really doing well or is doing bad. So far, it seems to be going strong.
I have Moneybookers and I only used it once or twice in the past. To me, MoneyBookers is not efficient. Things have changed and I haven't used it in a long time.
Paypal is easy for me so far and I hope that it will continue that way. It has been able to do business with many countries and are continuing to reach few areas.

Well, since I live in Italy, currently the only system of virtual online bank account that I know, it is Paypal. From my personal experience I have to admit that I never had any kind of problem. Maybe I just have to denounce the fact that the fee in terms of money, they are around 10%. I think I should say too much!
But for the rest I have no objection. The same site describes itself as "The best way to pay and get paid online!", Surely this is just its slogan.
