My New Taco Diet ~ and I'm Losing Weight! :)

            I had a baby about 4 1/2 months ago, and I gained about 40 pounds (not including the weight of the actual baby!) I got tired of being fat, so I decided to try something different... tacos.
The (crunchy) taco shells themselves are only 50 calories each. So I just put in shredded cheese, lettuce, and more shredded cheese. And voi la! (Did I spell that right?) My meal consists of fruits/vegetables, bread/cereals, milk/dairy products, and there is quite a bit of protein in the cheese. 
(I am a vegetarian & that is why there's no meat in my tacos.)
I've been on this diet for about a week, and I believe I've lost about 3 pounds. I have cereal and a small can of V-8 for breakfast, and then virtually all my other meals consist of 2 tacos. 
Sometimes I'm still hungry, so I'll eat fruity snacks or drink orange juice for some more calories... and to be honest, I sometimes eat chocolate chip cookies for energy... and candy at work... and I am Still apparently losing weight. What a fun diet! :)

                    be careful that you don't gain it right back by not having a well rounded diet. good luck to you, though. i hope you make your goal.
