I'm finding cinnamon as my new friend for coffee aside from creamer. It makes the coffee more sensible to smell =D Who among you guys wants to add more on their coffee? share your experiences and how it tastes like

I am a coffee lover. But I have not tried adding cinnamon to my coffee. I guess that would be a worthwhile idea and I am contemplating of trying it later on. Cinnamon does smell good, so I think it will most likely add more smell and flavor on the coffee.

Try it. It is worth mixing with coffee and not to mention it will enhance its health benefits as you consume a cup of it. Thanks for sharing your love of coffee feedback and happy mylotting.

I love many things with my coffee, but not all of them at the same time. I like cinnamon, real cream, chocolate, amaretto, Bailey. Yummy all of them. They all enhance the wonderful flavour of coffee.

I haven't tried that yet because I haven't seen a real cinnamon yet though I love eating cinnamon rolls and cinnamon flavored drinks and food, I haven't seen a real cinnamon so I haven't tried it but I would love to try.

I bought my cinnamon powder at the department stores; If you're in the philippines; you can buy it at SM department stores in sachets under condiments section with pepper and salt. It is only Php14 per 25 grams. Love it soo much... It gives me that Christmas feeling in my coffee.. now how can I find nutmeg? LOLs. Happy mylotting after you have tried it ^_^-)

I have tried cinnamon in tea and in hot chocolate, and it tastes good, but never added to coffee. I think I'm going to try that next time. I heard that cinnamon has good health benefits if it's real cinnamon.

That's powdered cinnamon ^_^-) I kinda love it. It does enhance the flavor of coffee while not being too strong in smell. Coffee's smell still reigns as you blended in it. Try it; it's really nice ^_^-)

I used to mix cinnamon or nutmeg with coffee grounds I didn't like as much. I've always made it a point to buy coffee on sale, now that its astronomically high I especially look for sales. The problem is sometimes coffee is "on sale" because its stale or just not good. So a little bit of nutmeg or cinnamon made it bearable or actually good. THEN I read about the benefits of having some cinnamon everyday so whether I have "good" coffee or "not so good" coffee, I sprinkle a little cinnamon in the grounds before I brew it. It smells nicer as it brews and it does make it taste "like Christmas".

I agree with you, Sarahb411. Reason I'm posting this topic is to confirm that cinnamon can make coffee taste better. Here in where I'm at they find it weird to put cinnamon in a coffee. I've also heard once instead of using sugar as a sweetener; they're using honey on it. I can't describe it yet because I haven't tried it in my morning coffee. Maybe I'll try it one of these days =D

It's used sometimes too in the foofy drinks at gourmet shops, but in general cinnamon is good for your health also as it asids in helping with blood sugar regulation.

I have never tried cinnamon in a coffee. The problem with cinnamon is that it masks easily the real smell of the food, even if you put only a very small amount. It is why I use cinnamon only in a few dishes. I will try with coffee.
