Captain's Log: "They" Say You Should Visualize It

Whew, baby. Let me tell you. "They" say that if you want to accomplish something in life, you should affirm "it" and visualize "it" and make "it" a goal. Well, that sounds good in theory, but I must admit, I have only visualized one goal in my life so far, and I didn't even know that what I was doing was VISUALIZING, I just wanted something really bad and I kept on thinking about it, and several weeks later, I got it. That was YEARS ago. Cut to the present day, present time, and here I am on this liquid diet of mine. Day NINE. Thank you to all of you out there who have given me support via comments on my posts and via personal message. Day NINE, so strenuous. But I have LEARNED something! I have learned that, if I really, REALLY want something, my powers of visualization are AMAZING. The other night I visualized all KINDS of food, in glorious, technicolor DETAIL. I never knew my powers of visualization were so strong. I imagined cutting pieces of an onion to put on an imaginary hot dog, and let me tell you, it was like that onion was in super-HD on the flat screen of my mind. Since I now know that I can visualize so WELL, I need to apply that skill to other things that I want in my life.

Your bowel output must be weird on day 9

I know you're being facetious here, but all jokes aside, bowel movements during a liquid diet are... interesting. And that's all I'll say about that very personal subject.

That's awesome. It sounds like you're gaining confidence as well as sticking to your diet! I've seen what visualizing things can do, although I don't really use it myself. A visualization like you had would probably seem more real because you were feeling hungry.

So VEEEERY real. I never knew that I could IMAGINE stuff with such intensity. I could actually see detail in the onions that I was cutting, I can hear the oil frying in the pan when I'm cooking my imaginary tacos. Uuggghhh! Here I go again with it!! I don't really use visualizing myself, but because of this diet that I'm on, I have learned the power that visualization can have. I really do need to implement visualization into my life. "They" say it is a great key to success.
