Sometimes i think..seeing the bad side of human nature is also something you can see in youtube, which is bad and rude comments. well, it also exist on other sites, but it makes you wonder why it's just to plain and easy for some one to express disgust hate and stuff. there was a time that i have received rude comments on my own, i wasn't that much into getting a criticism w/ some of my work before that i end up deleting the comment of block them from commenting on my profile there. but i still think that people do need to get a life i pity them sometimes.

I want to respond in this discussion because I have observed that too. For me, I still want to see both the two sides, the positive comments and the negative comments. Actually those making rude comments are actually making themselves bad not the video. We can also guess if a rude comment does make sense or just pure insult.

Hello Averygirl, the rude comments are something that is not necessary, but i guess some people out there who uses the internet has trouble defining which is negative and rude by their comments. some merely just want to hate as if they think it would be a constructive criticism and then others have less broad of understanding on how to take and interpret such message. have a nice day.

I think that's just human nature. As they always say "You can't please everyone". Therefore, when you put yourself out there (in the public world) you should be ready to face the reality of other people who wouldn't appreciate or like what you're doing. I guess this is the main reason why being an artist, actor/actress takes a lot of thick skin to be able to somehow live 'normal' lives. Same goes for the royal family. I guess if they were sensitive they'd only kill themselves with too much stress and frustration that they cannot please everyone. Therefore, let them be. If you see that there are a lot of negative comments, don't go on reading. Just continue doing what you love - as long as you're not stepping on other people's shoes. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

Hello Laydee, This is a good advice from you. you're right, It ain't worth a dime, there are people who loves us and should focus only on them because if we don't then we would have trouble living for ourselves and for a better positive aspect of life. don't worry I am not the guy who steps on some one's shoes, besides respect is the best thing tht i can do for them. like you said, i just ignore rude people. have a nice day.

That's just because nobody knows who those people are: it's simply a nick so they can write what they want, disrespect other people and they feel safe being anonymous. If they were using their real name, picture and everybody could know who that is writing those things I bed over 90% of them would not express themselves that way. Being anonymous makes them feel free to do and say what they like as they like.

Hello camalich, That's right and to this moment there has been no way of detecting the real indentities of these trolls. some of them might be people that you know, or some one that is respected in real life to thought they are nice and well mannered only to show true colors when they are anonymous in the net. 90% would be at their manners but not naturally good. have a nice day.

The comments on Youtube, IMDB, and Yahoo are where I see the most trolls. It just makes me sick how crude, vicious, and cruel people can be. I wonder how we learned to be so critical of everything we see to the point that we (when I say we I mean we as a society) need to lash out whenever something displeases us. Sometimes I just want to go around saying such sickeningly sweet things dripping with love, support, flowers, and chocolate just to counterbalance all the cruelty that goes around on the internet. I think in basic, the internet has made us mean.

Hello Allyoftherain, I don't even check the IMDB site but i accidentally go there when ever i check a certain celebrity or movies i think. well, there are moments that I am myself is also mean but at that time i never taught of being on the otherside and that is getting hit. internet has allowed us to show our dark side without hesitation and some people think it's natural to be unreasonable online because it's not demanding for your identity. have a nice day.

Some folks just enjoy having a voice to be as nasty as they want to be. Maybe they are quiet inventor real lives and come off as creeps online.

Hello Pointless-Questions, some are just creeps living a normal and boring in real lives. they can't show their frustration offline so they can show it in the internet in their nasty comments. some are considered online stalkers, i remember a troll making a bad rumors to her former friends, until he got hacked and found out she was actually he. we can hate them but somtimes i pity them. have a nice day.

Not only in youtube where you can find rude people. There are others in social network sites like twitter and facebook as well. All I can say is we can do nothing about them. Just remember that its them that have issues or problem, not you. Do not stoop down to their level because you are a fulfilled person and you do not have to do what they do in order to feel good about yourself.

Hello bhonti, You're right i think they have issues that they ends up showing it in the internet and wants you feel miserable into it. i agree that i shouldn't stoop to their level because i know that i am better than them and better than that kind of behavior. than you for this advice, i will do my best to keep up in their best. Have a nice day.

God grief, I had an awesome response written...and wasn't signed in ... here goes from memory. Herro LetranKnight25 I have seen some utubes that had vicious comments. i looked at the utube and could not identify the reason for the vicious comments. IMHO: I do my best to make positive comments. If I see something I perceive differently...I make suggestions. I truly believe that making positive comments or constructive feedback is the key to branding myself. If I see an issue, text too small (i.e) I suggest test be a larger font size. texladypj konnektions konsultant prosperous mylotting

Hello TexLadypj, Well, when you're talking with a scumbag or an a-hole, there's no way you can reason with such person. I have actually tried using caps lock, and they know that am pissed when am typing it that way. but people aren't afraid and backing out from it too. as long as they are anonymous they will remain at that. Have a nice day.

I actually think that those site that have these hateful, rude, etc comments on peoples questions, videos, etc are not doing a great job or careless about the site. I say this for two reasons, 1. Those members who have commented a bad or rude comment, still happens to be a member of the site. 2. The bad, rude, etc comments that was posted my a member on the video or their questions, still happens to be there showing. There was one time that they had those videos on youtube about some little kid that can die due to cancer, no food, etc, and how we need or can help them survive by donating. Some member would not make fun of how dumb was it to upload the video, but to say similar things like (one from I remember I read), "Haha, stupid kid (sometimes, *black* kid), die (and if he is a different color, die you *n**er)." and "Who gives a F*** about those l@me kids. I would like to see them die." or "The can get a job, lazy a**. I never post comments because from that, I know I would get more bad comments and maybe their friends would be all against me (even though I wouldn't see them face to face, but still) but there are others that do comments back (defending those without food or with cancer).

Hello 00Fear, Well, those who make these hate comments actually makes the good cycle of conversations. but there are just who makes mainly for the fun of it and it was never aimed to make conversations sound. but i think most people are kinda sensitive to such words and can't take much that end up bashing back to the commenter or some people would flag and report them relentlessly. have a nice day.

criticisms are welcome on my videos..if some people want to express their views through criticisms there is nothing wrong about it, unless the comments are profane..that's how i feel. but it's good for you that you have blocked them from commenting..
• Philippines
17 Apr 12
Hello Rekhum, That's the other word for being rude is profane, such words exist mostly there too. even for some forums that doesn't need strict rules, that is when you send the hate messages. in youtube, yes you can actually blocked them from further commenting on to you. am glad you're open to criticisms, have a nice day.

In fact there are bad people everywhere. They like to do something badly on purpose. I don't understand why they will find it fun to post rude comments. They can disagree with you but it doesn't make a sense to make rude comments. Perhaps they are alone and nobody cares about them. They want to get attention from others. I love China

Hello youless, There are times I use to think that too, but i remember doing that once as well and i can tell they just want to tick people off and that is their own form of entertainment. the attention of others is something they want as long as they can respond and get ticked off. ignoring them is the best way to do it. have a nice day.

Hi Letran Knight: I know what you mean because, actually I have to deal with these kind of people on my own videos. I simply delete their disrespectful comments. They must be losers that love to discuss with people and insult you because they find a pleasure with this attitude . ALVARO

Hello Starsailover, Maybe I should do the same, but I haven't had rude comments since i stop making videos a couple of years ago. though there are still some kids who would post rude comments but i just didn't care anymore because i know it's just an opinion. besides, they're the ones afraid since they don't have faces.

Some people are using the web like an outlet for their frustrations. They are satisfied when they manage to hurt others with a rude comment : it is pathetic. You are old enough to be able to appreciate if a comment is justified or not, to benefit of it if there is something true, or to ignore it.
• Philippines
15 Apr 12
Hello topffer, Indeed I was able to make sure i wouldn't be offended that much when there's a rude comment. you can always delete those comments that are not necessarily. well, if they are actually wanted to hurt you if you fight back, i guess the best way to stop it was to ignore it.

Some people are just like that. They enjoy hating and i don't know what kind of satisfaction are they getting from it. Do they truly feel happy whenever they try to say something bad about someone else's work. I get this a lot from twitter.
• Philippines
17 Apr 12
Hello toni-ganzon, The satisfaction is undeniable, and since they can't be detected, they can go on and on about it. if they get caught they will come into their senses like a wild animal suddenly tamed. Oh, my people in twitter can be sa lame and annoying to think they can just say and do what ever they want to do. some people doesn't realized that social networking sites are for connecting and linked for people and not for exposing the hate. have a nice day.

Well, in my opinion it's just how you look at it. I mean, i'm dutch and we're always very honest about things. If we didn't like stuff (also irl) we'll just say it. For example if I'd say: I think your music sucks, would it be seen as being rude? I don't think being rude has anything to do with "the bad side of human nature". Because it isn't something that's rooted in your nature or anything.

hello Outlands, SOme people just can't take it though and I think it's hard for them to accept something is something contrary to their beliefs. i have experienced being bashed simply because they have something different from me. unfortunately, when a person being called "sucks" by his or her works, there isn't anything that would make them say good remarks to such criticism, it's rare something welcomes it. have a nice day.

i agree, there are videos which are great but there are still negative comments which i could not believe people could actually do that and why they just can't be nice.
• Philippines
17 Apr 12
Hello Jazel_juan Some videos that are great also magnetize some rude trolls that would try to invade and discredit the video. then if there's people that would defend the video, it's starts a debate or a word fight on that video displacing the original purpose and that is commenting on that video. have a nice day.

I don't write rude comments. I prefer not to write than leaving bad words. We can always say or write our opinion without being rude. I also read a lot of disheartening comments from yahoo news and pisses me off. Keep smiling my dear brother

Hello Jaiho-sis, yes you're correct because any bad or wrong wordings will remain on the internet. most specially if you're a celebrity and they dig into your past, there's no way that you'd be able to regain good reputation if you leave a very bad ones. as for me, i had some fair share of mistakes but right now, i have learned it and will not repeat it again. thank you and keep smiling too, have a nice day

I encountered a lots of it in some channel I recently viewed. And it was embarrassing to some users who are just trying to post a video or whatever and at the end it only makes them disappointed. In my channel I used to keep all uploaded videos in private and other of my interest and likes that would be just visible to everyone. Its not actually I got affected to those comments just I'm avoiding myself to feel bad and to comment back to those rude comments and irritating word.

Hello Cloud31, Yeah, it is embarassing, most specially if you noticed that the person who is bashing and hating are filipinos. I've seen them bashing recently when am watching American Idol videos on the contestants. maybe next time I upload my videos i will make sure that it's completely private. thank you for this response and have a nice day.

I received rude comments in my channel, on the bright side I dotn get as much rude comments that Rebbeca Black and the reply girls get. Rude comments is actually a factor to get youtube partnership. I mean the replygirl is basically thriving from rude comments. comments regardless they were bad or good is actually good for the video. You the uploader have the power to delete them. I delete all of mine and I am enjoying it.

Hello CaptainAlbertWhisker, yeah some people believe that it makes a good conversation out of that rude=nice people talk in the comments on youtube. yeah, you can delete teh comments if you don't want them hanging around on your video. weird, but I actually have videos there that has rude comments but i didn't delete them, i just let it stay there. have a nice day.

Hello Matt69AC, Wow i didn't know some people would even bother commenting badly on a youtube video just for the fun of it or impressing a group of people. thank you for this, I will do my best to be more rational in replying to these so called rude comments. I have actually tried it in some, and I realized that not all are profane or rude just their point of view. have a nice day.

I really hope they don't discourage anyone who uploads a video, because they shouldn't. These rude people are everywhere, and they are just waiting for the chance to post a nasty comment wherever they feel like. You can't do better just ignore them. Some video owners just disable the comment option, but that way they won't get much positive feedback either.

Hello Almond24, The point for them is to bash that video and hate them as they please. it would be a definite hilarous for them and victory for them if you let them affect you. I don't have to do better in terms of insulting them back because there is no better in doing something negative but always positive.have a nice day.
