Do you make it a goal for your answers to be chosen as best responses? With so many responses I have made, I only got one best response. I thought I have none. I also join Yahoo Answers and I have more best answer there. Who could have lots of best responses here? Thanks and have a wonderful Wednesday!

CHOSEN to be the best response here is not a big deal for me. I have one too and I've been here for like a month. I don't mind if they would like my opinions what's important is I get the chance to share what's on my mind and I am free to speak out on whatever I want to say.
Mylot serves as my output where I can tell everything which I can't do in Facebook and twitter.
So, more of having fun and not COMPETING with other's responses.

yes, that is the important one, the chance to share what is on your mind, not really a big deal. Yeah, it would be less fun to think of competing for best responses with others. thanks

I have had about three if you put some humor in you posts and make people smile they will sometimes mark it as best post

Thats true i also like to make my posts funny if i can because it makes it more funny for other mylot users and more interesting.

Nah..
Not really.I just want all my answers to be helpful and funny(sometimes) and serious with some.Most of the time, i want it to be helpful..Well,i've not got any best responses so far and i would soon get one,i'm sure of it.Maybe when i respond to some more discussions,i really would help a person and inturn will get a BR.
I've not worried or thought about it much until i saw one discussion about it--how overwhelming it is to get one or two! Hope i'll have an opportunity to discuss things about it when i really get one! For now--i want to help people ,and participate in discussions with quality posts--and that's it for now.I'm just 15 going now(the posts),and will be getting more in time.And good luck to you too!--one's not bad at all lady :)
Yahoo!Answers-is a question answer site--this site is for DISCUSSIONS.Don't just compare it with this one.You can just answer there.Here,you can comment and it's like an OFFLINE CHAT that you do,mylot.That's what discussing is all about.I think this site is great and in no time you'll get loads of BR! Yes it is overwhelming to get one or two of BR but we cannot expect to have them all the time. Maybe you participate more and soon many of your answers will be chosen BR.

I believe I have many of my best responses to these questions since it is the only way to get hired, which did. That means i did my best when providing the answers. Nothing comes easy and wherever you go, the employer will want the best from you. I believe in myself and in what I do.

Getting the best responses is not my goal here. And actually I haven't got many responses. There are many reasons, and one of them is today it seems people seldom will make the best response. As to me, I always make the best response after my discussion is posted for some time.

everygirl no I do not even think about getting them as I a m just having fun and enjoying better here, enjoying my friends and making a little money. I have been here going on five years so ha ve agt least ten pages of best r esponses and so what, that was never my goals. glad to get t hem but thats not why I my lot a lot. I just love to be here and part of things.so I have ovedr one hundred best respoonses in 50000 and more posts and still I would not care if I had only five or six. its all the wonderful thing in my lot that kees[ me here.

If the member like your answer; then you could have lot of best response. I have many best response in Mylot, it probably is because they like my answers. Don't worry, you will get some more after spend more time in Mylot. It is not very difficult to reach that.

Yeah, that is true, sometimes it is a real gift or talent to be able to come up with the best answer. Also you need to be an expert on the topic to give the best answer. Though it is important to always give your best and not just answer anything out of earning points.

I could really care less whether or not I get best responses for the comments that I make on here, but I do know that I have a lot of best responses that have been awarded to me during the time that I've been a mylot member.
The reason that it really doesn't make any difference to me is because of the fact that we all have our own opinions and there are a lot of times that our opinions will not be the same as the person that started a discussion.

I personally don't mind about best response.I just stated my ideas and opinions so I know there might different idea out there that could be chosen as best response. What matters me the most was if my comments appropriate to what the discussion is all about.If chosen as BR then that would be great and would be thankful for that!

Just stating your ideas and opinion is important, it is up to the owner of that post to choose the best answer. Sometimes it can be pure luck!

i don't really make it a goal to get the highest response. i just respond and say whatever i feel and whatever i say to help others. i feel good doing that but if i get the best response in a discussion then that is just like a bonus

yes, like me too, it is my goal to answer in the best I can but not after the best response. It is really a bonus. But I think there are really topics that one can answer very well so we receive a best response.

I just try my best to answer the discussions how I can and not worry about it, as I don't always have the good kind of imagination and info on hand right away to comment better. I'm also kind of shy and don't really have the words all out for me to type sometimes, it takes me awhile to explain myself.
I think one of the people here who always has the best responses is Loverbear, her posts are always some of the best informative posts I have seen on this site.

yeah nailtech good answer. Loverbear there are really others who have many best responses and they are really taking their time to come up with the right answer.
Is that true your a bit shy? Really sometimes even if we are not actually seeing each other you can still get shy to post comments. thanks
