Next month I'm going to Dubai in tourist visa. Mom of a friend of mine will going to sponsor me at the cost of 70,000 pesos. One of my friend who also went to dubai two weeks ago say he only spend 40,000 pesos but that because he was been sponsored by his sister. while in my case 70,000 dollars already included two months of bed space rent. I don't know if its advisable right now to go to dubai to find work or not. But I'm hoping that I can find work in a month in their.

I have a lot of colleagues who are now in dubai. They all went there on a tourist visa and then find work later on. That's the good thing about Dubai, they're not strict with their visas unlike other countries where you must have a visa which is appropriate for your travel. As long as you have friends or relatives that you can stay with then you're good to go since a lot of jobs are available. Most of those I knew who went to Dubai are still there and they seemed content and was able to adjust to a new kind of lifestyle. So good luck!

Crude oil will not last and that's the main reason why middle eastern countries are investing in real estate and developed the desert into a business capital because before the oil runs dry, business would already be thriving already. The good thing in it for us is once the allure of oil is gone which i guess that's one of the main reasons why a lot companies are there, then they will move somewhere else and hopefully they'll be eyeing the philippines.

And its good that theirs an opportunity in their also. I'm just wondering though why we can't do it in here in the Philippines. I mean look at dubai. Its just desert and yet its center of economy. while Philippines is rich in every thing and yet its not growing to be the most richest country. Lets face its. We are near the 100 million population already.

That's true. But crude oil will not going to last at all. In 50 years all of those oil will be gone. What will happen to dubai next? I guess the best thing we can hope right now is earn money in dubai as working and if we have enough money we can simply return home.

A couple of my friends did that.. and luckily they found work.. a friend of mine whose wife is in dubai also said that and offered me with that amount but then again, i refused as i am not sure i could leave my kids. A friend of mine also, who is an engineer here is also in Dubai and is looking for work, he was sponsored by his brother.. i am not sure if he was able to find a job as he said it is hard to find job through local hiring, directly there. Some also said it is easier through an agency here in our country...but then again, it is a matter of "animo" or spirit, if you want to and can take the risk why not? it can be an adventure for you as well but must also have that determination so you can find the work immediately.

I'm also going to try agency in here. In fact I'm going to agency this friday. I'm hoping that I can land a job in their before I even try to go to dubai. But If I can't find job in agency then next month I'm going to use the other option and that is tourist visa.

Thanks. My friend also who is in dubai give me a site that I can pass my resume. I'm hoping that I'm going to pass my resume even though I'm still in the Philippines. So that I can get working visa even though I'm here. I'm hoping that I can land a job that pays like 30,000 pesos and above. I'm also hoping that board and lodging is free.

hi there bulastika, going to that place is really great. you will see and witness a lot of tremendous things especially if this is your first time to go out of the country. aside from that, working in that country is really good. as you will really meet different types of people having different nationalities. just be ready with your documents especially when you are about to board, hence your papers might be check at the immigration counters.

My sister has some reservation because its the middle east country. And you know the discrimination in that country is great. But I'm hoping that I can land some good job in their also and hope that I can earn good money in their also. I'm just want to have a good start in their again and maybe return in a two to three years after I save money or spend the rest of my life in their who knows.

Wow, I wish i can be like you, get 70,000 pesos for traveling by sponsors. I think enough money or not is depend on how you choose a hotel type, spending money for food, and shopping when you are in Dubai. Just calculate carefully how long you will stay in Dubai, and how much you can spend a day based on your money currently. So that you will have a good plan for spending money in Dubai. Wish you a nice trip in Dubai and remember share with us about your trip later.

70,000 dollars include a bedspace. I'm going to live in my friend mom house and rent free for two months. Since its already included in the 70,000 pesos. what I need next is money for my expenses while looking for a job and food to eat. After two months I go home 70,000 pesos poorer if I don't find job in their.

We all like travelling around the world for different purposes. Travelling to look for work is a good reason, but today human trafficking is on the raise. We should be careful how we travel. If at all you trust your mum’s friend and that in case of anything she will sponsor you trip back home, then carry on.

That's true. that's why we must make sure that we are going to keep on checking if the person or agencies that we are talking to are legit one. their just too many scammers right now. The world today is worse than before. its seems we are losing our sense of responsibility. Its seems their just too many who does not feel guilty doing bad to others.
