hi friends. it must have been very obvious to you but bookies must be a very happy lot i suppose considering that in most matches, the guys with better odds lost the match. it started from mumbai thrashing chennai and getting thrashed by pune.kolkata losing easily but won against RCB. now chennai lost to delhi. just wondering if the BCCi had any kinda deal with the bookies considering the results . ofcourse report being TRP has been lower than last season.lol lets see if royals can thrash mumbai today

:) Just one correction, Kolkotta losing easily is not an upset. :) But of course they winning against RCB is an upset. Then the crushing win of DD over Chennai was another upset. But that is what T20 is all about. But this year, I think the teams are more evenly matched and pitches are adding a new dimension to the game. Cheers! Ram

Hmmm... Now that you mention it, I guess there is a faint possibility of really good teams screwing up against weak teams.. But, you never know for sure about these things. Maybe the weak teams are really playing well. This tournament could be turned completely on its head as the matches go on. As far as that match between RR & MI goes, MI totally ripped RR apart.. All thanks to a terrific knock by Kieron Pollard with the Bat & the Ball... Frankly speaking, I am a little disappointed. I was hoping RR would continue its wining streak.

You are right that many results are against what the normal cricket people expected. some stronger teams lost to weaker teams. But i dont think that bookies has some role in that. the teams like pune and RR played well as a good team.
