Earth quakes, tsunamis, terrorism, volcanoes, floods, droughts, famine etc etc. These natural and un natural calamities confirm one thing and that is God is cruel. He is believed to be all loving. If so why all this pain to his own children and his own creations?

Really...what makes you think that God has anything to do with it? Earthquakes and Volcano eruption is necessary to maintain balance to what's happening inside the planet. If you had elementary science, you'll know that volcanic eruption is merely Earth's cooling off from all the heat under the surface. This is natural. What makes this phenomenon dangerous, is people living near the volcano. If they had not lived there in the first place, they wouldn't have to die eventually because of volcanic eruptions and earth quakes, no? Do you still want me to tell you how Earthquake goes? Tsunamis happen due to volcanic eruptions (especially below sea level)/earthquakes. It's just a cycle of natural activity that would have been harmless to humans if we had taken care of the environment instead of killing mother nature. We just reaped what we sowed. This is true to floods as well. If we had enough trees, we won't experience flood. Droughts and famine is another phenomenon that can be solved. If humans have been the same as our ancestors where they move from one place to another in search of food and water. No place can always be in drought or famine unless if you're in the middle of a dessert, wasteland or iceland. As for terrorism, lol, you've got to be kidding me about this one. Who are the terrorists? God? So I don't think God has something got to do with this one.

Because I learned that God is good. He is love. And he is in everything that is natural. Now why do I blame man for all the evils and destruction around? It's because man had allowed that evil and destruction to contaminate the world. Yeah, I would have to say that God is indeed responsible for giving us free will, that's why he sent us his Son to save us from what we did. It's only up to us whether we take him into our lives and live as a good follower of God. Oh, God do give his orders to man. But if man knows how to listen, we won't have problems now, do we? I don't care whether man gives himself the credit or give it to God. As long as he did something that is good, I may not end up hating him for his pride unlike other judging humans. God will decide that human's fate, not I.

When good things happen in life we say its God's grace. Why not the reverse?why do we blame man for all the evils and destructions around? Isn't God also responsible for having given the lesser mortal the mind to indulge in destructive activities?Isnt God getting his commands done through man? When man claims credit for his achievements and success we say he is arrogant and he wouldn't have achieved his success without God's will.

He allows things to happen to people's lives. He is not cruel. Far from it. He is a very loving God who sent His son to die for you and your sins. Many of these events have been man made.

He does allow things to happen. But then he also allows bad things to happen and then hold man responsible for it He takes credit for all the good things while man gets the blame for all the wrongs

Can you be certain that all of those calamaties are not caused by man?

Most of the problems are man related. Funny we have more storms and natural disasters than 100 years ago, to much bad stuff being done to the earth. All the terrorist attacks are usually done by people that don't believe in God, so again man made.

I can say with reasonable certainty that MOST earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, typhoons, &c, &c are NOT caused by man. That doesn't mean that they are caused by God, however ... or by 'Satan'!

All of the gas and petrol that we are sucking up from under the surface is bound to leave gaps and something has to fill them up surely? Hence earthquakes

God is just in all happenings, good and bad. One tends to overlook God when it's good and blame God when it's bad. No one is perfect, but God is.

Yes God is there in everything . Even in bad things that man does.If so why is Man blamed for all the wrongs? cant we rationalize it saying that it is the will of God that man is executing?

Will of God is just. If only can one do everything according to the Will of God, then everything will be just. When one diverts from the Will of God, one will face the just consequences. No, God is not cruel. One has all the freedom to make his own choices; ultimately, he will only receive what he deserves, no more and no less.

What really makes you think God controls everything that happened all over the world. God is something to believe, something that help you in hard times. Satan is the one making all the evil on the world.

Who is to say that 'disasters' like earthquakes and tsunamis are 'evil'? If you scratch your head and kill a flea, is it bad for the flea ... or good for you?

Wow, who's to say that God isn't already working to stop what is happening already? That instead of all humanity dying in one instant, he's given us enough time to even sip our cup of coffee in the morning or booze in the night, so that we can just start to rebuild what we've destroyed ourselves?

He is all knowing and omnipresent and omnipotent.Since HE is all knowing then why cant he be held responsible for the foolishness of man.Man is not perfect.

Interesting one. Okay, earthquakes, tsunamis, flash floods, tornadoes are really frightening. I do believe that is the way, God shows his wrath or burst his anger to humans. I see God is good if you meditate the beauty of creations but like us humans God also express anger. He may not be cruel after all. He shows his power and shows that he gets angry too. I heard of babies being able to survive tragic calamities. I believe God has a reason for allowing these things to happen but He is still kind.

If man was perfect then we wouldnt need a God. If man is treading the wrong path, then God as all knowing has the duty to stop him.

Man is perfect for his imperfections. If we are too perfect we all should have been robots.
