Life 's little mysteries

Today is my birthday, and I went about my usual chores which included the weekly family shopping for food etc. I was in Walmart and ready to check out and of course the only open check out was way at the other end of the store. Determined to be cool about this, I need the extra exercise, I walked down and waited behind two people. The checker was someone I had never seen before, and she seemed to be ddoing a good job. As my turn came it, a fellow worker came over to my checker and gave her a birthday hug. Of course as soon as I got up there, I asked her if it was her birthday and she agreed it was, so I told her it was mine also. We had a chuckle at the world and how it worked and enjoyed our short time together. It wasn't unil I got in my car that I thought about what had happened. I wondered what the chances were that we would meet in that store on this day. Then I got a big smile, thanked the higher powers and enjoyed my day. Blessings, I made it through another year.

What a nice coincidence. It's funny how these things work, right? ^_^
But I don't hink those are simple coincidences, since I have an idea world has quite a lot of system to keep us humanity for living, and right you were to thank the higher power for the nice meeting today. :)

Yes pat it is really funny that you met a person who born in the same day. Many people born in the same day. Occasionally some of them meet together. I'm happy that you enjoyed your birthday. Let your smile be ever remained.

I am sure the odd were not that good for that to happen as it did. But Happy Birthday. I know it's late. You are lucky not only for the check out girl having the same birthday, but the fact that she was nice. Can you imagine going to a checkout here in NYC? Believe me, you don't want to experience that. Now I am not saying they are all nasty, but they are not real friendly. I also know they are under pressure and have to take care of lots of people. But I have experienced shopping outside of the city, and it is a pleasure to see people more relaxed and friendly.

It’s rare to find someone you share the birthday and it is even more difficult for you to find some you don’t know but you share birthdays. That was a nice experience sine you got know someone new a unique way. That has never happened to me and I wonder if I can even be in a position to ask the question.
