My discussion posted yesterday about chicken was deleted...

I have read through the previous responses and want to add: - the reason for the deletion is stated in the notification that you received, so you don't have to guess why it was deleeted. - we have an admin who deletes violations manually and they are not deleted by a computer. Perhaps the admin sees it as a poll-tye of post. You are asking about what part of chcken do you like most. Though I responded on that. LOL

The reason for that might be because there was already one posted, or it somehow violated the guidelines? You might want to check the rules about that. When it comes to starting discussions on here, you need to be as unique and original as possible.

lol...I wonder what your discussion was all about.May be they did not like the chicken. But similarly, my post was also deleted..it normally would have happened to any other posts..Just keep on posting sensible posts...

I didn't see your post or reply to it. But a common post that seems to get deleted that I don't think deserves it, is one that asks for opinions on something. Admin seems to interpret these as polls which quite often they are not.

Rule violation is an offence punishable by law. They did you a favour by just deleting the post. I have seen accounts closed due to rule violation and at other time too much data is lost. The question is, why violate any rules set aside to be followed? Try to be on the safe side.

Hi Mobhomeir, I didn't see your chicken discussion but I'm guessing it was either a recipe or a poll type discussion??? You'd be doing yourself a favor to read the guidelines and the faqs. Especially pay attention to the "don'ts" as those are the discussions that get deleted. Also...this one is against guidelines because you are discussing "mylot" when instead you should be contacting them. They are the only ones that can give you real answers. Here you will probably get good answers but you are also apt to get answers that are inaccurate.

dear Martin, I did not noticed that it was deleted since I do not receive any notification here in mylot for more than a year already. Well, thinking about the topic- it sounds like a poll question since you asked what part/s of chicken you love (something like that) It's a violation and reading from your responses above- yes, we have to admit our mistakes and learn from it. Keep posting
