How do you feel about Titanic after all those years?

I watched this moive once more yesterday, and it brings up some old memories. The first time I watched Titanic, I was with my fist lover and we were still in high school. Now Titanic is back to the screen again, I watched it with my wife. I just can't help myself to think about my first lover. anyway, what's gone is gone!

I don´t know if it is because I have seen my share of epic movies of sorts, but I was never really taken by Titanic. In fact, I seem to remember other movies about ships that sink that were far better. I suppose that part of the movie was the luxury of it all. I would not se it again, not even on TV.

I think that many members of the younger generation do not realise that it is a true story

Old songs and movies have a tendency to bring to life memories that we had buried in the past. Sometimes the memories are good and sometimes they are bad. The thing is when the music or movie ends, reality checks back in. Good memories are always welcome and if watching a movie or listening to music will bring them back then I’ll play them over and over.

I have mixed feelings.I wonder if anyone would like Titanic if it was a black/white documentary with real people and real events, and not the fancy Hollywood version. The real Titanic story isn't romantic and great at all, but this movie makes it look like that.It looks like the most memorable and most tragic event in the human history which is not.I like Jack and Rose's fictional romance, but I'm not happy about commercial use of Titanic name and all this 3d stuff.Too much is too much.
