My mom got hurt

What a terrible day happened to my Mom this morning. She was been scalded by boiling water. She lost grip of the pot of boiling water she was carrying and the hot water poured into her stomach down to her legs. I can’t imagine how much painful that was, especially that my Mom is already a senior citizen. But thank God she feels a lot better now. It’s really so painful when people we most love are getting hurt. How I wish I was just the one who suffered it.

I am sorry that your mom got hurt. I hope she wasn't burned too badly. It's hard on seniors especially. I got a second degree burn once and it blistered and hurt a lot. I still have a scar. Third degree burns are the worst and leave bad scars. People with third degree burns usually have to have skin grafting and are in hospital a long time. It is a horrible thing to be burned and wouldn't wish it on anyone. I hope your mom recovers soon.

Thank you for your concern to my mom. Thank God she just suffered a first degree burn or else she might not able to take the pain. I am also sorry to know that you have also got burnt, I'm glad you have recovered already. Thanks again for your response. Take care!

When people we love get hurt, our first instinct is usually wishing that we could take away the pain. When my children are sick or hurt, I always wish that I could take their pain or sickness on myself so that they wouldn’t have to go through it all; more like what Christ did on the cross. Watching them going through the pain is harder than having the pain ourselves.

I think that your mom had the worst day ever. How awful it was that she spilled boiling water on herself by mistake. The hot water must have been agonizing for her. Since this happened three weeks ago by now I hope that your mom has fully recovered. I hate it when my mom gets hurt. Three years ago my mom fell over and broke her arm. She had fallen whilst carrying shopping into her bungalow. Good luck to your mom.

I'm so sorry about your mom.I hope she's alright now.Sometimes we can't avoid accidents and that would surely hurt us as its happened to our love ones.Does she seeks for medical treatment after the incidents? Hopefully she did and by this time she feel better. Take care of her and asked her to be more careful next time.An extra care because in her situation she should have someone beside her and assist her with that kind of task.
