We pay what we owe

I have a belief that things that we pay for, things that we owe are supposed to be paid here and some people I know doesn't pay there debts especially if it is family
but I think that is wrong since money is earned and if you borrow that money that someone earned then it should be replaced right so i hope that people will understand that money is made by hard-work sweat and blood so pay-up, for those that who don't.

My SIL is like that. She wastes her money on foolishness and then cries wolf when the debtors say pay up or loose your power, home, ect. The sad thing is she makes out very well on her deathbenifits and pension then my household does by DOUBLE and we can just pay our bills. Whereas we spend our time when dramas with her come up wondering where does she spend all that money and yet can't pay her bills nor has anything else to show for it?!?!?!?! I'm just thankful the collection calls for her have ceased for now.

Hey there snuggles,
Well that is a situation that is really hard, I mean if you come to think about it life is tough all over and that everyday people try to earn more money if they can and some are still paying off debts like me, well I try at least anyway hope that your sister will get to a better position and that one day she will learn her lesson.

we actually haven't had credit cards for a number of years and don't miss them at all and are in the process of paying off our debt now.
my hubby's sister and brother in law are in debt up to their eyeballs yet they go spending merrily along. too bad they are so focused on 'stuff'.

Sad to hear that about your sister and brother in law enjoying money they haven't earned yet, i just hope they stop before it hits there eyebrows.
But i am glad that you are not in the same position and that you are avoiding it being in debt is kinda hard but if it was for something important and a good investment well i guess it is all good.

Its pretty frustrating when your close friends borrows money from you and in turn pays these debts after a long period of time. I guess you have to lend them money because they are your close friends. I get angry when they abuse you and dont pay the debt on time. They give sweet talk to you to make you feel better. Its like "sipsip". I hope you understand this. hehehe

Hey there vincent,
No prob am pinoy too, anyway that is really hard right and most times in time they wont pay the debt because they have done a lot of things for you they'll say so better not lend right. Well maybe give a little amount if they really need it.
