4/12/2012 Today on Young and the Restless...

Just curious, have you ever watched The Young and the Restless? Do they have that soap opera over in Scotland? I was going to start writing about Y and R again, but I have to do some binge watching of the shows though. I haven't watched in about three or four days.

I've never heard of Game of thrones before, lol. I have been thinking about getting into watching more TV because I really like stories, whether they be via book, or on tv or on a movie or whatever. My problem with TV series is that I get too into them and then don't get other things around the house done because I'm spending too much time watching TV. I don't really watch HBO much at all. As a matter of fact, I am supposed to be downgrading my cable service because the bill is just too HIGH. I'm gonna have to check out Game of thrones though.

I like Sharon, but she had done some stupid things in the past. Even still, I like SHARON with Nick much better than I like Phyllis with Nick. Phyllis acts like SHE was wife number 1. Phyllis acts like she OWNS Nick or something. I would LOVE to see Nick and Sharon get back together. Don't get me wrong, I like Phyllis, but she is just too possessive when it comes to Nick. Sharon was there first. I don't understand why they put the bubble bath fragrance in with the rest of the ones they approved. Perhaps they are going to make the fragrance into something new. Instead of it being just a fragrance that is a bubble bath fragrance, maybe they are going to make it into lip gloss for the summer, or lotion for the summer. I don't know. Hopefully they will follow through on that story line and let us know what is going on.

LOVE Nikki, and I know she has to work with what the writers give her to work with (unless she has some sort of pull there where she can kind of dictate the kinds of lines she receives), but her DELIVERY is getting on my nerves. I mean come on, you are married to a BILLIONAIRE, have been married to OTHER billionaires/millionaires. You are SUPPOSED to be a businesswoman, so what is with all this WHINING that you are infusing your dialog with?? Discuss the situations, but stop all that whining. Maybe she is trying to be like Phyllis. Phyllis is not shy about letting her emotions be known. She is not ashamed or afraid to say that she is jealous, or that she is scared, but she does it all with sophistication, not whining. As for Nikki, you know she is never going to leave Victor. She would walk through hell with gasoline shoes on for that man. She needs to start playing it smooth, just accept the things he does, but then YOU do YOU, too!! Instead of running around after Victor trying to change him, go and do something else with yourself. It would be good if she went and married Jack. That is a GREAT idea, I never even looked at things from that angle until you mentioned it. Since Nikki now knows about Chelsea, Nikki is not going to do anything about it but talk and complain, like she always does. That is, unless she DOES fly off and marry Jack. Victor will have a fit, and good FOR him because he deserves to be stressed out over Nikki just like she gets stressed out over him. If Genevieve marries Victor, I think that they would be a good match. GennieV would give old mumbles a run for his money. I think that they don't give Victor a lot of lines because they are trying to make it like he is SUPPOSED to be a man of few words. You know, the strong, silent, sneaky type. I like Victor. He gets on my nerves, and makes me want to give him a good shaking every now and then, but I like him. Chelsea and Adam seem to have really good chemistry on screen. He seemed really happy and animated to be around her when he was talking to her in the hospital. I think the two of them would make a great team. Sharon WOULD have a fit, but she does not know WHICH Newman she wants. Quite frankly, I don't blame her because both Adam and Nick are sexy. Yum!!
