Of the three top teams who competed tonight standings, only Manchester United, who suffered defeat. Arsenal win with 3 goals, and even worse for United, Manchester City, West Brom slew his guest with a score of 4-0 at Etihad Stadium. These results can not be made United a point while elsewhere Manchester City pack of three points. Difference both in the standings are now five points and make the City still had hopes of pursuing United for the title this season. Wigan finally gained the victory after a winless cons of Manchester United's previous 14 games. so what do you think about this result guys?

I think United wanted to help Wigan in order to remain in the Premier League. United will win the title, the gap is too big and the number of games is too short, so City will not recover the points. You will see that United will not lose more than 3 points till the end of the season.

They do stil have to play man City though so if they do draw a game and drop a couple points then lose to City then City would potentially be top by goal difference. I think the title race came back to life on wednesday night

Personally, I think that United will not loose against City and I am sure that City will still drop points. Will see what is going to happen at the end of the season

This is a surprise result but it is not totally unexpected. Wigan is a team fighting for their premiership survival and it has been proven that such clubs are never easy to play against at the tail end of the season. This result has ensure that the race to the title is still alive, at least maybe until the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.

And probably it was Man United's worst performance of the season. Wigan was all over them and should already have had a goal which was disallowed. I think one more slip up from Man United and the flood gates would open again. Of course, the title is still theirs to lose, but if they slip up again it would make great viewing for us. Cheers! Ram

hello icecubic. not good results for a man u fan such as myself. this is man u's first defeat and first game that they conceded a goal after a long while. i think they're last league defeat was in january and that was also the last time the opposing team scored a goal on them. i could be wrong though. anyway, i still believe that man u can cop this year's premiership title. the team is too good not to accomplish the task. let's gored devils!!!!! from a betting standpoint, i like these results as the price for man u to win the premiership title increased and if you were to bet on them to win the championship, you'd get a better return now than a week ago when they were eight points clear of man city. haven't locked in my man u bet yet as i'm still waiting for the number to go up some more. nice talking about soccer with you mate!!! cheers and happy mylotting!!!

i think it's united's charity for wigan......lol they just need a break to refresh the squad... remeber, they will against man city, and fergie need to prepairing and made a rotation. rotation sometimes make the squad not well.

I think that Wigan had made a great game and they deserved the 3 points against Manchester United. United on the other hand didn't show quite good game and performance. I think that Wigan's win throws open the race for the title again and gives Manchester City quite a hope for claiming the title. In my opinion, Sir Alex Ferguson wouldn't be furious about the 3 points, as much is he would be about the weak game of Manchester United. But I think that Manchester United would deal all of his next challenges like always. I think that the winner would be decided at the derby between Manchester United and Manchester City. Personally, I'm a Chelsea fan and lets face it, Chelsea hasn't got a chance for the title, so I hope Manchester City claim the title. They had a wonderful season and it would be a shame if they don't be the winner. I think that they deserve it more then anyone this year.

Sad to say but Wigan did actually deserve the 3 points and fair play to them United hardly got a look in. I've always been a fan of the way Wigan play in a 343 formation Roberto Martinez tries to play attractive football and they simply outplayed United last night. tbf though I dont think it should be looked into too much no doubt United will be back to top form against Villa this weekend!
