Banned Black History Month

Why do Americans celebrate black history month? I am black, and black people already know their black. This celebration is a constant reminder that black people are separated, black people are still unequal, black people need a whole month to be acknowledged, and black people need a handicap holiday. The day we can be considered, not as African Americans, but as just "Americans" is a day of true civil salvation. Of course, I am proud of my heritage, but it is the principle of the matter of just finally being treated and labeled equal and fair. What do you think?

A very good point. Have you ever noticed that so many "minorities" insist on having "their" day when all that it really does is scream "hey, look at me I'm different." Then they complain that there's no equality. If we just accepted people as people, the world would be a much happier place. Got to go now, it's broken nose pimple on the chin day and I need to march! LOL.

Good point, but I know why blacks do what they do. And, lol! Take care!
