Today I got 2 ladies from ETLLearning program and they were explaining about interactive learning program for babies as young as 6 months..Though my daughter loves to flip through books ..but how effective are audio books for learning? I also want to know are there any place to buy less expensive audio books as I have seen most of them are very expensive.

I would say it is effective, because babies and toddlers can quickly follow from what they hear. It's the same logic as when they learn to say "momma" or "papa". They hear it from us, and they follow. Also, audiobooks are non-conventional which stirs their interest in learning, more than the usual books. My toddler learned the alphabet letter sounds, faster when I played a voice recording. It took her only a couple days to master the sounds. So, give it a try. I would, if I get my hands on these items.
